Baca ini jika tak pandai Bahasa English!

Kepada korang yang dah terer Bahasa Inggeris, boleh abaikan entry ini, biarkan aku yang pernah ambik BM julai mengajar pembaca yang lain akan betapa pentingnya korang kena belajar Bahasa English.

Semua tahu sudah, belajar Bahasa English itu penting kerana banyak sekali akan sumber ilmu yang dapat dirujuk dalam Bahasa English, boleh rujuk Wikipedia yang mana rujukan terbesarnya dalam Bahasa English, dan jika korang berniat untuk menyelamatkan dunia, maka ‘kerja’ itu akan jadi lebih mudah bila korang pandai English, insyALLAH terutama jika kamu expert like a crazy pig (Pandai gila babi).

Nota: Gila babi bukan digunakan untuk menghina, tapi untuk menujukkan rasa kagum yang teramat iaitu kagum gila babi-harap maklum.
Lagipun aku dengar cerita, jika tak tahu English, jika memang Olimpik ke, memang FIFA ke, silap berucap, siaplah korang jadi bahan nitezen walaupun pandai gila babi main bola, adohai..
Balik pada Main topik, Pendek cerita, Dulu, aku adalah seorang melayu yang agak malas belajar bahasa English, Mungkin sebab zaman aku dulu, PM tak wajibkan lagi belajar Matematik dan Sains dalam BI, lagipun masa tu belum ada internet, maka aku jadi macam tak endah dengan pentingnya BI, (alasan.)

Sehinggalah pada suatu hari, setelah aku melihat budak budak Punk ketawa membaca tulisan di dinding tandas yang buat aku iri hati dengan kelebihan ilmu mereka dan di tambah dengan ramainya pendosa dari luar Negara yang datang ke Malaysia, maka aku mulai berniat to improve my English language sebagai salah satu kaedah yang lebih cepat dalam usaha menyelamatkan dunia..insyAllah!

Bak kata pepatah:
“Everyone should be able to do one card trick, tell two jokes, and recite three poems, in case they are ever trapped in an elevator.” (Lemony Snicket)

Namun, sebab aku dah lama habis sekolah dan aku juga seorang yang miskin, takde duit nak masuk tuisyen dan takde masa jugak nak pergi belajar, maka aku belajar English dengan cara aku sendiri, dan sekarang, berkat usaha gigih karisma dedikasi integriti.. err,, kejap.., cerita aku di sini bukanlah nak cerita aku yang dah terer English gila babi, tapi nak cerita tentang bagaimana kita sama sama boleh cepat pandai dalam English… insyAllah.. so tiada lagi istilah “hot-hot chicken shit”

Jadi, mula-mula sekali dalam bab nak belajar English, korang kena ada kamus sendiri, kalau takde korang kena beli kamus dan bawa ke mana sahaja, kalau boleh hafal kamus, jika dulu Nabi di gelar ‘Al quran yang bergerak’, maka sekarang, korang kena jadi ‘kamus yang bergerak’..

Jika aku jumpa korang dan bertanya, what is masturbation? Terus dapat jawab, dan tolong jangan buat! Sebab itu hanyalah contoh!

Dan aku tahu, korang tak pandai BI bukan sebab korang bodoh, tapi sebab korang tak tahu makna dan malas nak hafal sebab buat block dalam otak, tak tahu BI boleh hidup gak, kata korang, malaikat dalam kubur tak tanya dalam BI, korang beralasan.., dalam syurga lebih afdal cakap arab! arghh, malas nak cerita, apa kata korang just bukak block tu, dan aku heran kenapa pelajar dalam kelas BI tak ada kamus kat tangan, masalah pertama kamu adalah tak tahu makna, itu masalah yang paling utama! Tak tahu makna! Beli kamus dan hafal, itu key yang pertama!

Dulu bila aku baru berkecimpung dalam bidang internet, rasa teruja sungguh, sebab begitu banyak sumber ilmu yang boleh kita terokai, bukak sahaja wikipedia dan boleh baca semua cerita, baru aku tahu apa itu “Rotten Tomatoes”, siapa “Maddox”..,imdb info, tapi sebelum tu, semua nak kena pandai English!

Dan bila dah pandaiEnglish, boleh buat niat untuk berdakwah ke peringkat antarabangsa, bukan setakat Perlis sampai ke Sabah sajer perjuangan kita.., baru boleh dapat pingat emas peringkat olimpik dan tebus satu juta! Dan itu cerita lain-woha!

Jadi sebab baki hayat kita dah tinggal sikit.., maka aku belajar BI dalam “ruang yang terhad” tapi masih seronok sebenarnya, sebab dunia belajar itu memang fun bukan?, dan semua dengan pertolongan Allah.

Jadi , aku memang rajin baca ‘Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia’ dan baca sambil bukak kamus, (sekarang dah ada google translate) lepas tu beli akhbar the Star, beli komik English (sekarang banyak yang on line)dan beli jugak kitab karangan Maulana Yusof Mutakhab Hadis versi English, baca baca baca..

Bila berjalan, aku akan bawak kamus, (sekarang dah ada app, just install) jika nampak tulisan yang di conteng di dinding tandas awam dalam bahasa English, aku akan bukak kamus dan ketawa jika lawak itu bermutu tinggi..

Untuk lebih cepat pandai, aku pinjam dua buku dari perpustakaan awam iaitu satu versi BM dan satu versi English, dan kedua dua buku itu aku baca dan bandingkan..,

Untuk dapat saham di dunia dan akhirat pula, aku baca buku islamic yang ada dua versi BM dan BI, seperti buku Tafsir dan buku Hadis, kedua dua buku itu aku baca dan bandingkan, ada jugak waktu, aku baca taklim dalam BM, aku semak dalam BI.

Lepas tu untuk menambahkan lagi kefahaman dalam English, Kadang kadang aku berpantun dengan orang orang tua di sekitar kehidupan guna Bahasa English..

Kemudian bila jumpa member member yang berpendidikan tinggi yang bergelar pensyarah, doctor atau professor, aku terus akan bercakap English dengan mereka, jika berurusan dengan cina dan India, aku jugak akan bercakap English, malahan dengan kucing yang curi-curi masuk rumah aku, aku juga menghalau dalam bahasa English, sesekali bila berasmaradana dengan bini, kitaorang speaking-woha!

Dan yang paling bernilai dalam hidup, iaitu ketika para pendakwah dari luar Negara datang berdakwah dikampung aku, aku pula akan menjadi pengalih bahasa untuk orang kampung yang tak tahu berbahasa English, begitu lebih kurang..

The Perfect religion is carrying out all of the commandments of Allah following the way of Rasullulah SAW. All of the companions of Rasullulah SAW have had the perfect religion in their life, It was mainly because all of them had six noble qualities with them. If we want to have the perfect religion in our life, we should follow the footsteps of those successful people by making effort to obtain and bring the six qualities into our life. If we have these six noble qualities with us, we will also be able to practice the perfect religion in our life easily…,”

pendek cerita, satu hari tu, ketika duduk berborak dengan kawan kawan dalam bahasa English yang agak berterabur janji faham, maka terciptalah satu teori baru dalam hidup aku, yang mana aku lihat kawan kawan aku bila belajar bahasa English mereka ada target tersendiri atau Measurement masing masing dalam menentukan setakat mana sudah pengetahuan mereka dalam Bahasa English tercapai.

Antara mereka ada yang anggap mereka sudah pandai berbahasa English apabila boleh berborak dengan pelancong asing, ada yang yang anggap mereka sudah pandai berbahasa English apabila boleh menyanyi lagu English sambil faham maksud tersirat, ada yang anggap mereka sudah pandai berbahasa English apabila boleh mengarang resume sehingga di terima kerja, ada yang anggap mereka sudah pandai berbahasa English apabila boleh membaca novel barat tanpa merujuk kamus, atau boleh ketawa pada dinding tandas yang di conteng falsafah English misalnya, dan lain-lain.

Tapi aku lain, aku ada target tersendiri atau Measurement yang lain dalam menentukan setakat mana sudah pengetahuan aku dalam Bahasa English tercapai, iaitu..

AKU MESTI BERMIMPI DALAM BAHASA INGGERIS!

Ya, serius, untuk pandai bahasa English, Aku mesti memastikan dalam mimpipun aku akan berbahasa English, aku mesti pastikan selalu bermimpi berada di London atau New York, aku mesti berjumpa dengan Avril Lavigne atau Padme Amidala dalam mimpiku, lalu berborak dengan mereka dalam bahasa English slang America atau slang Coco sambil buat lawak standard hollywood, ke ke ke.

Dan akhirnya, selepas bertungkus lumus belajar bahasa English, aku akhirnya sudah dapat bermimpi dalam bahasa English, kadang-kadang bermimpi berada di London atau New York, dan sudah bertemu dengan mat saleh yang ada iras Angelina Jolie atau Avril Lavigne dalam mimpi aku, kemudian berborak dengan mereka dalam bahasa English slang America sambil sempat berdakwah dalam mimpi dengan bahasa English! Tapi Bonda marah bila aku juma artis wanita Hollywood dalam mimpi, adohai..

Maka, nasihat aku, kepada korang yang sedang belajar bahasa English sekalian, buat target yang tinggi dalam hidup, think big! iaitu korang mesti pastikan belajar English sehingga akhirnya korang dapat bermimpi dalam bahasa English, dan mengigau dalam bahasa English.., so itu tahap tertinggi dalam belajar ilmu BI, maka sekarang, korang mungkin belum dapat berdakwah di America, tapi berkat usaha gigih, boleh sajer berdakwah dalam bahasa inggeris dalam mimpi korang masing masing…

Boleh?
