Salam Aidiladha. Alhamdulillah saya dapat bersolat Hari Raya Haji di Masjid Semerbok, Rembau dan selepas itu singgah ke Astana Raja dan Pulau Mampat untuk melakukan ibadah korban.
Bila kita sebut korban kita selalu ingat tentang pengorbanan atau sacrifice. Malah dalam bahasa Inggeris, ia dikenali sebagai the feast of sacrifice.
Namun dari segi bahasa, korban itu membawa makna dekat. Iaitu kita mendekati Allah SWT kerana menjalankan dan taat kepada perintahNya.
Perkara ini perlu kita ingat disebalik melaksanakan ibadah korban. Di perkarangan masjid-masjid di seluruh negara, ramai yang terlibat dalam ibadah korban. Lembu, kerbau dan kambing (kadang-kadang unta) diikat dan ditumbang sebelum disembelih. Ada kalanya proses tersebut dijalankan sebagai ritual tanpa penghayatan korban yang sebenar.
Sebab itu elok kita menghayati makna korban.
Umat Islam tahu sejarah Nabi Ibrahim yang mendapat wahyu dari Allah SWT dalam mimpinya untuk menyembelih anaknya, Nabi Ismail. Dan umat Islam juga tahu bagaimana Nabi Ibrahim dan Nabi Ismail taat kepada perintah Allah SWT sehingga pedang diletak atas leher Nabi Ismail dan terpecik darahnya keatas badan Nabi Ibrahim sebelum Allah menggantikan Nabi Ismail dengan seekor haiwan.
Peristiwa ini mengajar kita bagaimana Nabi Ibrahim sanggup mengorbankan anak kandungnya dan bagaimana Nabi Ismail telah minta bapanya untuk mengorbankannya kerana ketakwaan mereka kepada Allah SWT.
Membawa mesej pengorbanan tersebut kepada generasi muda hari ini, apakah kita juga sanggup melaksanakan pengorbanan besar? Walaupun kita tidak diuji oleh Allah SWT sepertimana Nabi Ibrahim, apakah kita juga sanggup meletakkan kepentingan orang lain diatas kepentingan diri kita?
Pengorbanan hari ini bermaksud kita melahirkan generasi muda yang boleh mengenepikan kemahuan peribadi atau personal desires untuk membantu orang lain. Ia bermaksud kita memikirkan perasaan orang lain sebelum kita melakukan sesuatu. Ia bermaksud kita meletakkan maslahah umum di awlawiyat atau keutamaan yang lebih tinggi berbanding dengan keuntungan peribadi.
Walaupun kita masing-masing sibuk dengan urusan peribadi janganlah lupa untuk mengorbankan sedikit usaha dan masa demi kebaikan. Saya faham anak-anak muda hari ini terpaksa kerja keras untuk mencari rezeki. Dalam keadaan kos sara hidup yang meningkat, bukan mudah untuk kita memikirkan perkara lain. Tetapi dalam kehidupan harian kita juga, kita dapat menzahirkan pengorbanan yang ikhlas dalam hubungan kita dengan orang lain. Jika kita peduli, prihatin, cakna dan ambil kisah tentang perasaan orang dikelilingi kita pun, kita sudah melakukan sesuatu yang baik. Dalam saat itu kita mengorbankan sifat semulajadi manusia untuk hanya memikirkan tentang diri sendiri dan memikirkan pula tentang orang lain. Itu adalah permulaan yang baik kearah pengorbanan yang lebih mendalam.
Kepada semua rakan-rakan sekali lagi saya mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha. Maaf zahir batin.
