Hello friends. Now that we're done with domestic press, and the critics have had their say, its finally up to the people we made the movie for....you....
I've been to countless screenings of The Judge and it's clear we met our goal...this is an AUDIENCE movie...like the ones I grew up loving...
I personally guarantee that you will laugh, smile, maybe cry, and definitely call a family member or sibling (maybe an old high school crush, if appropriate) and have a talking point based on one of the scenes.
I need movies that make me feel, invite me to laugh at the fragility of the human condition, and push the emotional buttons I think I need to protect. To control.
I believe we made a quality piece of entertainment, that'll be worth your time and money.
Ultimately, YOU will be THE JUDGE of our success.....thanx a bunch.....RDJ

20 years ago today, I arrived in Taiwan, expecting to stay here for 6 months…. It was also right when the World Trade Center was attacked. Needless to say, a lot has happened since then.
At 21 years old, I came to Taiwan to intern at the hospital and fire department, working as an EMT and getting ready for medical school. My dream was to work as a doctor with Doctors without Borders.
Just before I was to leave Taiwan, somebody asked me if I would be interested in auditioning for an underwear commercial. I thought “Oooh this could be fun!” and simultaneously, “I think I’m being scammed.” Turns out, it was the beginning of a very interesting new career as a travel show host, actor, professional violinist, writer, producer and motivational speaker.
20 years in Taiwan - I’ve gone from working the first aid station at the red carpet to now, this year, nominated for Best Supporting Actress and walking the red carpet. I met my many (on and off screen) husbands George, 黃尚禾,and 王識賢 and hopefully more (真可惜不是都是真真的老公哈哈) here. I started a family of two boys with one of them. 😂😂 @instageorgey
Over the past 20 years, I have met countless people who have influenced me, inspired me and supported me. I have taken thousands of photos with people I’ve met along the way - if you have taken a photo with me, please share with me here!!! Post it, tag me, tell me about this photo, where it was taken, what happened when we took that photo, etc. I want to relive some of these awesome memories and moments of my time here so far!
THANK YOU and to many many many more years, experiences and friendships!

Throughout our lives, we are but searching for a place
One that lets us cry all we need, when we need
One that lets us go crazy without being judged
One that lets us love with all we have
There, everything is limitless
There, we spread hope, faith and love
Every moment in life can be a miracle
The first cry of innocence from an infant as it enters the brave new world
The majestic gush of wind from beneath the eagle’s wings as it soars amongst clouds
Or the romantic silence as you stand before the mysterious northern lights
Moments that seem so ordinary
Are made up of boundless extraordinaries
Where music is personified;
Our lives entwine and stories are written as sound.
Where we learn to cry, to lose ourselves, to love
And to follow our hearts
Where we find the way home
After journeying through countless extraodinary moments
We are here, now
Welcome to the Sanctuary.

Video Title: The Mysterious Chinese Art Heists Across Europe
"Stockholm, Sweden. 2010. Passersby on the streets of the capital were confused and scared. Several cars in and around the vicinity had lit up in flames, and no one had any idea why. Police soon arrived on scene but they too were baffled with what they saw. Now, several kilometers to the west, on the outskirts of the city, a small group of masked men made their way across the grounds of the Drottningholm Palace (the private residence of the Swedish Royal Family, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Their target was the royal pavilion situated in the southern part of the complex, which displayed countless works of historic art. Once there, the men forced their way in through the backdoors, and went right to work. They smashed the protective display cases, and grabbed whatever items they wanted. This immediately set off the alarm system, which alerted the Swedish police. Now, despite the alarm, the robbers remained calm, because they knew exactly where the police were. The burning cars were in fact a distraction for them set up by the robbers, and they had fallen right into the trap. Still, the police raced towards the crime scene, but by the time they reached the royal pavilion, the place was empty (the robbers were in and out in less than six minutes). Upon inspection, sculptures, chalices, plates and teapots - all invaluable items - were now missing from the permanent state collection of art and antiquities; and this wasn’t just a huge economic loss, but a cultural one as well. It was later found out that after fleeing the pavilion on mopeds, the robbers made their way to a nearby lake where they were then picked up by a white speedboat. Though from this point, the trail went cold...
*Note: The narrative of the implication of the Chinese government was made popular by Alex Palmer of GQ in 2018 (though these suspicions had existed long before).

The MV is finally here guys. About this work of music, I'd have it split into 2 parts. Simply because there were too many people contributing to the birth of these wonderful memories.
Part 1: THE TRACK
The track is called "There were...", an old song of mine which was reinvented to perform with Kenyan Boys Choir. This version was arranged by my respectful friend Nguyễn Thanh Tú.
About Kenyan Boys Choir, The Kenyan Boys Choir is a choral ensemble of talented boys from high schools and colleges around the country. The choir is dedicated to moulding a world-class choral outfit that offers a platform for its members to nurture and showcase their natural talents while imparting life principles of discipline, hard work, perseverance, persistence, and determination. During the performance, their eyes and smiles make all the differences, in both geologically and racially vanish. We recorded this track in 8/2019 at their studio in Nairobi, this wonderful collaboration had been done in my tour at Kenya this year - Dreamers Concert 6 - Awaken A-moment.
This track belongs to a music project called "Dreamers Concert World Music" which had been working on for the last 4 years long by me and Nguyen Thanh Tu, and today we enjoy the first song, "There were". All the other songs won't be published into an album, but totally free on my Youtube channel for everyone to enjoy. Just hit that 'Subscribe' button and wait for the release. The "Dreamers Concert World Music" project has 10 tracks, both newly-written and rearranged for me to perform with international artists from Mongolia, Bhutan, and Africa during these past few years. [2015 - 2019]
Without Tú's amazing efforts dedicated to the arranging of the tracks as well as the making of Dreamers Concert, I'd never had these precious opportunities to perform and play music with all these wonderful artists around the world. I really appreciate and love the music through Kenyan Boys Choir's voices. It's like the sounds from Heaven even I have no the slightest idea of what heaven is.
The additional recording and Mix&Mastering had been done in Vietnam thanks to the work of Minh XRecords. Thank you for patiently helped me in perfecting this musical work of mine.
Part 2: THE MUSIC VIDEO
To start out this part, I'd like to send my deepest thanks to the Red Team, the wonderful people who had taken care of my music video despite the tight conditions that we were in, to be able to record these simple, yet lovely and touching footages. Special thanks to Bi (Pierre Châu), Bô (Paul Châu), and Mr. Lê Hoàng for contributing countless valuable footages for the making of this Music Video.
Thank you, Ms. Nga, Mr. Tenzin, and Ms Tú for making the trip possible and help us be able to have this amazing journey. Last but not least, a special thank for Tiki which has accompanied me in this project. From all these kind and humble dedications, here is the birth... of "tám chữ có - There were"
I hope everyone enjoys, encourages, and shares this moment with me and the team behind it.
Sincerely,
Lê Cát Trọng Lý
