Đỗ Minh Hải với những bức tranh về Cao Lãnh và bộ phim hoạt hình Mưa.

Năm 2016, Toho đã cho ra mắt bộ phim hoạt hình Nhật Bản “Your Name”. Được viết và đạo diễn bởi Makoto Shinkai, bộ phim đã nhận được sự đón tiếp và ca ngợi nhiệt tình trên toàn thế giới, trở thành một trong những bộ phim Nhật Bản thành công nhất mọi thời đại, đồng thời, giúp Nhật Bản đứng vững vị trí của mình là một cường quốc hoạt hình lớn mạnh nhất Châu Á.

Trước cả khi “Your Name” thu hút mọi người bằng vẻ đẹp xuyên thời gian tồn tại trong những bộ phim của mình, Shinkai đã có một lượng lớn đông đảo người hâm mộ ở Việt Nam từ những bộ phim như 5 Centimeters Per Second và The Garden Of Words. Trong số người hâm mộ đó có Đỗ Minh Hải, một sinh viên của Đại học Xây dựng Miền Tây, chuyên ngành kiến trúc.

Từ khi còn nhỏ, cậu đã luôn say mê những nét đẹp của hoạt họa Nhật Bản, trong đó có Studio Ghibli và Shinkai - 2 tượng đài có ảnh hưởng lớn nhất trong quá trình phát triển phong cách cá nhân của Hải. Và đó không phải là điều dễ dàng bỏ qua khi chiêm ngưỡng sản phẩm của cậu.

Vài tháng trước, Do Minh Hai đã thu hút một lượng lớn người theo dõi khi đăng tải bộ tranh của mình lên Facebook. Những tác phẩm của Hải chỉ đơn thuần là quang cảnh nơi Hải sống, đó là thành phố Cao Lãnh, tỉnh Đồng Tháp. Nhưng điều thu hút mọi người đến với tranh của Hải đó chính là cách mà cậu đã vẽ lại những quang cảnh bình yên đó theo phong cách ấm áp và mộng mơ của hoạt họa Nhật Bản, cụ thể là của Makoto Shinkai.

Trong những bức tranh của Hải, những đám mây xuất hiện như những chùm lông vũ rải khắp bầu trời; việc sử dụng một tông màu sáng, ấm và khác biệt của anime thực sự đã làm bừng sáng bầu trời trên con sông Mekong hơn bao giờ hết; và một bảng màu đậm đã làm gợi lên vẻ đẹp của một mùa hè vĩnh cửu.

Được thấy quê hương của mình vẽ lại trong một phong cách tuyệt vời như vậy, những cư dân mạng đã không khỏi dành những lời khen lợi cho Hải. Vẻ đẹp của đường phố Việt Nam thường đầy hỗn loạn - một sự pha trộn của vô vàn màu sắc, âm thanh và mùi hương,... - điều mà hoàn toàn trái ngược với phong cách thường tồn tại trong những hoạt cảnh đầy giản dị của anime Nhật Bản.

Từ một trường tiểu học, cho đến một bến phà, một sân vận động; tất cả đều nằm trong tâm trí và hoạt động thường ngày của Hải.

Trường tiểu học Lê Quý Đôn, nằm ở trung tâm thành phố Cao Lãnh, là nơi đã tổ chức một cuộc thi vẽ mà Hải tham gia khi còn là một học sinh lớp 4. Cậu được chọn để đại diện trường đi thi, nhưng Hải lúc đó không có một bộ màu mới, nên giáo viên môn Mỹ thuật đã tặng cậu một hộp màu sáp dầu. “Đến giờ mình vẫn giữ bộ màu đó, vì nó chính là biểu tượng của sự yêu thương và kỉ niệm mà mình dành cho giáo viên Mỹ thuật của mình”

Nhà của Hải rất gần bến phà Cao Lãnh, nên đối với Hải, mỗi khi cậu nhìn thấy những con phà, cậu biết mình đã về đến nhà khi trở về từ trường. “Cầu Cao Lãnh cũng gần xây xong rồi nên chắc những con phà sẽ sớm không chạy nữa”, Hải chia sẻ, “Mình muốn vẽ lại bến phà để giữ mãi hình ảnh của một thời kì hoàng kim, không chỉ với mình mà với tất cả người dân Cao Lãnh”.

Sân vận động Cao Lãnh đã từng là mái nhà của CLB Bóng đá Cao su Đồng Tháp, theo như Hải kể. Đó chính là nơi lưu giữ nhiều kỉ niệm đẹp mà người dân dõi theo CLB của tỉnh mình thi đấu. Sau khi bị giải thể và với sự xuất hiện của một CLB Đồng Tháp mới, sân vận động vẫn là nơi nằm mãi trong trái tim và tâm trí của người dân Cao Lãnh.

Kể cả với những người chưa từng đến Cao Lãnh, các tác phẩm của Hải luôn gợi lại trong tâm trí của họ vô vàn cảm xúc.

*Phim hoạt hình "Mưa":

Đoạn clip animation ngắn mang tên Mưa mà Hải thực hiện gần đây được lấy cảm hứng từ đồng quê Việt Nam, từ những cơn mưa đầu mùa theo sao đó là tiếng sấm gầm vang, từ những cánh đồng lúa nước ngập quanh năm và cả những tiếng ếch kêu sau khi mưa tạnh. Dự định từ rất lâu rồi, Hải mất khoảng hơn 1 tuần để hoàn thiện ý tưởng, vẽ các background, làm chuyển động và biên tập video.

Requested by our daughter, we made some soap. It's really easy because it's made with glycerin soap and all you have to do is melt it in the microwave, pour it into a mold, and wait for it to solidify. A word of caution; it's inedible because it's soap!

Recipe:

1. Cut glycerin soap into pieces between one to two centimeters. It can be cut easily because it's so soft.
2. Place (1) into a heat resistant container and heat for about ten seconds in a microwave oven. If it's not completely melted, you can heat for a few additional seconds while keeping an eye on it.
3. Use food coloring to dye (2). Gel coloring can be used as it is, but it is rather difficult to apply. I recommend using it after dissolving with a small amount of water.
4. If you want to add a fragrance, now would be the time to do it. I used essential oils. (You can also use aroma oils or plant extracts).
5. Pour the mixture into a mold.
6. Take it out when it solidifies (about one hour later) and let it dry for about a day.

Points to note:
・Stir gently to prevent bubbles from forming.
・ Essential oils should be added at a ratio of 0.5% to 2% of the amount of glycerin soap. One drop of essential oil is about 0.05ml. For 100ml of glycerin soap, add about 10 to 30 drops of essential oil. They can be added bit by bit.
・If the soap starts to harden while you're in the middle of preparing it, reheat it again in the microwave before pouring it into the mold.
・If small bits and pieces (like strawberry stems or the dark lines of watermelon) fall out, you can readjust them just before the soap solidifies.
・When pouring into the mold, large bubbles formed on the surface can be erased by spraying anhydrous ethanol.
・The seeds were made by placing black soap on an oven sheet and stamping them out using a straw.
・If you want to make an opaque soap, add a small amount of white glycerin soap chips (0.5gm for 100gm of glycerin soap). It can be added when you are melting the soap in the oven, or can be added afterwards as well.

娘に頼まれて石鹸を作りました。うちにあった昔の石けんおもちゃの型を使いました。電子レンジで溶かし、型に流して入れて固めるだけでできるグリセリンソープを使って作るので、とっても簡単です。夏休みの自由研究にも良さげです。石鹸なので食べられません。ご注意ください。

*レシピ*
１．グリセリンソープを1～2センチ角に切る。柔らかいので簡単に切る事ができます。
２．耐熱容器に１を入れ、電子レンジで10秒ほど加熱する。溶け切らない時は様子を見ながら追加で加熱する。
３．２を食用色素で着色する。ジェル状の着色料は、そのまま使うこともできますが、若干、溶けにくいです。少量の水に溶いてから加えるとよいです。
４．香りをつけたい時はこのタイミングで加える。エッセンシャルオイルを使いました。（アロマオイルや植物エキスでもOK）
５．型に流し込む。
６．固まったら（1時間ほど）型から取り出し、1日ほど乾燥させる。

ポイント
・かき混ぜる時は気泡ができないように優しくかき混ぜること。
・エッセンシャルオイルはグリセリンソープの0.5～2％加えるとよい。エッセンシャルオイルの1滴はおよそ0.05ml。グリセリンソープ 100mlに10滴～30滴、様子を見ながら加えるとよい。
・作業中に石鹸がかたくなってしまったら、再度電子レンジで加熱して溶かしてから型に流し入れてください。
・細かい部分（いちごのヘタ部分やスイカの黒い線）が飛び出してしまった時は、柔らかいけれど、固まりかけのタイミングで直すことができます。
・型に流し込んだ時に、表面にできた大きな泡は、無水エタノールを霧吹きすると消すことができます。
・種は、オーブンシートに薄く作った黒い石鹸をストローで型抜きして作りました。
・不透明な石鹸を作りたい時は、グリセリンソープ白の色チップをほんの少量加える。電子レンジで溶かす時に一緒に加える事もできますが、溶かした後から加えることもできます。

２．溶かし有塩バター 30g、牛乳 20gも入れ混ぜる。
３．薄力粉 7g、強力粉 15g、ココアパウダー 3g、ブラックココアパウダー 5gをふるい入れ、混ぜる。
４．フライパンやホットプレートを熱し、薄く油を敷く。
５．３を丸く入れる。今回、25ml流し入れて、11センチくらいの丸にしました。
６．裏表、焼く。しっかり目に焼いたほうが形をつけやすい。
７．麺棒などに引っ掛け、そのまま冷まし、タコスのハードシェルのような形を作る。
８．生クリーム 170gに砂糖 6gを入れかために泡立てる。
９．オレオ 8枚を砕き入れ、混ぜる。
１０．９を８にはさむ。上にチョコレートソースやオレオビッツを飾ってもおいしい。

We made a large Oreo-shaped cheesecake using both Oreo cookies and vanilla cream. It is a calorie monster if you eat it all by yourself, but if you keep it in a fridge, it gets hard enough to cut into small pieces so you can share it with all your family and friends. It goes really well with some raspberry sauce on top!
*Recipe* (diameter 24 centimeters)
1. Separate 20 pieces of Oreo vanilla cream into cookies and cream.

Cream cheese:

13. Cool the cake inside the mold.
14. Whip a mixture of 100 grams of cream and 4 grams of granulated sugar to stiff-peak, and put it onto the cheese cake.
15. Cool it further in a fridge.
16. Cut the cake into pieces, and enjoy with raspberry sauce.

Raspberry sauce: boil 100 grams of frozen raspberries in a pan with 35 grams of granulated sugar and a teaspoon of lemon juice, and crushed the berries in the process. Cool and put it onto the cake.

８．室温に戻しておいた、卵 2個を溶き、７に少しずつ加え、その都度混ぜる。
９．４と５を加え、ゴムべらで混ぜる。

１０．サラダ油を薄く塗った型に９を流し込む。
１１．３も流し入れる。今回、仕切りがあったので動画のようにしましたが、流し込んだ１０の真ん中をへこませ、１１を真ん中に流し込んでもよいと思います。
１２．180度に予熱したオーブンで20分、170度に温度を下げて25分、様子を見ながら焼く。残り5分のときにアルミホイルを掛け、焦げを防ぎました。
１３．型に入れたまま冷ます。
１４．生クリーム 100gにグラニュー糖 4gを加え固く泡立て、１３のチーズケーキの上にのせる。
１５．冷蔵庫で冷やす。
１６．切り分け、ラズベリーソースをかけていただく。
ラズベリーソース：冷凍ラズベリー 100gにグラニュー糖 35g、レモン汁小さじ 1を鍋に入れ、火にかけ、潰しながら少し煮て、冷ましましたものを使いました。（料理的にはオレオを中も外も使うところと、クリームチーズを入れて焼くところです。）
