仲夏過後，長月之夜。感覺晚間開始變得漫長，就知道又來到轉季的時候了。
．
參加過夏末的祭典，在返回宿舍途中，我經過一家陌生的小寺廟。寺廟裡供奉著一條短小的......石製管子。
．
正當我好奇地探頭進廟，嘗試看清楚石管的時候，天上的雲霧突然散開，明亮且柔和的月光照射進廟中。
．
我看見石管上有一尾金魚圖案正在游動。
．
「你好嗎？」
．
「哇！」
．
一把聲音從石管裡傳出，把我嚇退了幾步之餘，我赫然發現自己身處於池塘的中央，卻沒有陷進水裡。
．
同一時間，一隻長耳狐狸從石管中冒出頭來，毛茸茸的樣子怪可愛的。
．
「我叫 KUDARA。謝謝你救了金太郎喔！」長耳狐狸一邊介紹自己，一邊指向石管上的金魚圖案說道。
而我卻只是一頭霧水。
．
「你在今天舉行的祭典中，不是撈了很多金魚，然後都帶到這個池塘放生嗎？金太郎就是其中一尾被你拯救的金魚了。牠很想跟你當面道謝哩。」KUDARA 的解釋讓我晃然大悟。亦令我再次想起金魚攤老闆被我撈走所有金魚之後，一臉死灰的樣子。
．
當 KUDARA 說畢，金太郎就突然從牠身處的石管迎面躍出，並依附在我的肚皮上！我的身體頓時滲出微弱的光茫，更浮現出跟 KURADA 身上相同的花紋。
．
「謝謝你救了我！SORA 哥哥。」金太郎的聲音直接傳進我的腦海。
．
「你現在這身裝扮是我們送給你的一點心意。它能夠讓你在水中呼吸自如喔！要跟我們一起玩水底捉迷藏嗎？」KURADA 雀躍地邀請我。
．
就這樣，在明月映照下，我跟兩位新朋友，以及池塘裡的一群金魚們盡興了整個晚上。之後大家更一起躺在水底，欣賞著水面上那顆隨著水波而舞動的月亮。
．
「待下次月圓再一起玩吧！SORA。」
．
「好喔！一言為定！」
．
不知不覺就睡著了的我，到眼睛再次睜開的時候，發現自己躺在宿舍的床上。身體亦已經變回原來的樣子。
．
難道昨晚發生的事情都是夢境嗎......？
．
就讓下次月圓帶給我答案吧。
．
我會耐心地等待著。
．
長月之約，神無月再續。
．
