【又輪到和理優的回合】#726香港機場集會 #向世界發聲 #堅持5大訴求 #機場同事發起 #要撐

我們是一群因7月21日晚上在上環和元朗發生的悲劇事件而聚集一起的香港航空界職員。我們將聚集於香港國際機場，就以上事件發出聲明如下：
一）警方於六月及七月期間對抗爭者採取的不恰當暴力行為：包括本月21日晚上於上環發生的事件，警方繼6月21日後再次向抗爭者發射橡膠子彈及布袋彈，數量更高達三十多顆。
二）香港政府和香港警方無視元朗有不法之徒隨機襲擊市民事件。無辜的市民，無論男女老幼，甚至記者，以及路上的司機，均遭到襲擊和傷害。更有大量報告證明報案熱線的工作人員對市民不屑一顧、元朗及天水圍警署早早關起大閘、警方於事件發生一小時後才趕到、警察對手持武器走過的施襲者並沒有採取任何行動。
我們密切關注香港市民的安全，並對香港的治安感到憂心。我們呼籲各位機場同業加入參與是次集會活動，並要求香港政府立即採取行動，起訴這些施襲者並成立獨立調查委員會徹查警方對抗爭者使用的不當暴力行為。
集會詳情如下：
地點：香港國際機場一號客運大樓－五樓接機大堂

2.向各航空公司工作人員及機場職員分享一系列事件有關的新聞、影片等証據。
3.收集公眾就上述事件的請願書簽署，表明我們對香港政府的不滿。
We are a group of employees in the aviation industry who gather together because of the tragedy occurred in Yuen Long and Sheung Wan at night on 22 July 2019.
We hereby declare our intention to gather at the Hong Kong International Airport, to raise our voice over the following:
1. The inappropriate violence used by the police force towards protestors throughout June and July, including but not limited to the incident in Sheung Wan last night, where over 30 rubber bullets were alleged to be shot at protestors.
2. The ignorance of the Hong Kong government and the Hong Kong police on the random attacks on citizens in Yuen Long. There were numerous reports with proof that the staff of the emergency hotline hung up on citizens; the police station in Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai have closed; the police arrived one hour after the incident happened; the police walked past the attackers with weapons and they did not take any action; innocent citizens, including but not limited to aged people, reporters, pedestrians, drivers on the road, were attacked and injured. As of today, only a few people are arrested based on unlawful assembly.
We have serious concerns of the security in Hong Kong and especially, the personal safety of Hong Kong citizens. We encourage our colleagues to join our protest, and request the Hong Kong Government to take action immediately, prosecuting those attackers and investigating the inappropriate violence used by the police force.
