「The road of Laputa」
The landscape just like the one of the movie scene from "Castle in the sky" produced and released by Studio Ghibli.
When the sea of clouds emerges in Aso, the geographical feature like cape and the roads look as if these are floating in the sky.
From autumn to early-winter would be the best season to visit because the conditions that sea of clouds appear relatively easy to satisfy!
It might be one of the options of destination^^
