Here comes "Something to know about American States" series again! Do you know which is the smallest state in the United States? You might even catch Taylor Swift vacationing here.
The answer is Rhode Island (RI) in northeast New England. Even though Rhode Island is the smallest state, it still boasts 11 colleges and universities. “The Ocean State” has a unique mixture of seaside New England Colonial townships, beautiful sandy shores, bays, and inlets. It's home to several large cities, including Newport, famed for sailing and Gilded Age mansions, and also the location of Taylor Swift’s summer house. In the capital, Providence, you can find Brown University, landscaped Waterplace Park and Riverwalk, with its famed WaterFire art installation.
