（「保護猫しあわせ物語」）
たくさんの猫たちと元気に暮らす「ヒロくん」のお話です。
子供の頃から猫が大好きでしたが、家族が嫌っていたため飼うことが出来ませんでした。現在の夫と結婚し、ペット可のアパートに引越し、多頭飼いが夢だったので、保護猫を引き取る以外に一時保護のボランティアもしていました。アパートが手狭になったため、より猫ちゃんにとって快適な環境をと、主人と話して思い切って家を建てることに。猫ちゃん達が慣れた頃、路上で死にかけていた子猫を発見したと義母から連絡がきたのです。

「本当に健康です！どこも悪くない！」直近の健康診断で「優良」のお墨付きを獣医さんからもらうほど健康ご長寿のサスケですが、唯一気をつけることは「便秘」の問題です。
サスケが10歳を迎えてからは頻繁に便秘に悩まされ、薬を処方されて下剤を飲ませることもありました。

A day in the life of our cats
