你知道誰是丹尼․波爾嗎？丹尼‧波爾是一名華爾街日報記者，他在2002年初在巴基斯坦遭到恐怖份子綁架及殺害，而四個月前才剛發生911恐怖攻擊事件。波爾也是一位作家及才華洋溢的音樂家，一生致力於擔任跨越文化藩籬的橋樑，因此自他不幸遇害以來，世界各地每年在九月到十月都會舉行一系列的音樂會來緬懷他，向世界傳遞希望與和平的訊息。
美國在台協會很榮幸能共同贊助將於「2016丹尼一日音樂節」，並與國際社會一同紀念911事件十五週年。今年的音樂日將於9月10日星期六在台北客家文化主題公園舉行一系列免費的戶外音樂會，節目從下午2:00開場，一直進行到晚上9:30。誠摯地邀請大家共襄盛舉！

Do you know who Daniel Pearl is? Daniel Pearl was a Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and murdered by terrorists in Pakistan in early 2002, just four months after 9/11. Since then, he has been remembered as a symbol of hope, who built bridges between diverse cultures - as a writer and a gifted musician. Every year in September or October, people around the world use the power of music to commemorate him in a series of concerts.
The American Institute in Taiwan is pleased to co-sponsor the 2016 Daniel Pearl World Music Day on September 10, 2016, as AIT joins the international community to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The day-long, free outdoor concerts will take place on Saturday, September 10 from 2:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Taipei Hakka Cultural Park. We look forward to seeing you there!
