這首歌由鄧紫棋親自作詞作曲，不管是旋律還是歌詞都很容易產生共鳴的一首歌。
把一段感情故事寫進歌詞和旋律中，記錄了那段時期的心境。描述那段沒有結局的感情，分手後就算時隔許久才與舊情人再相見，兩個人的問候也換了意義。
