Chinese netizens have been foaming at the mouth over Angelina Jolie’s statement in Shanghai that Ang Lee is her favourite Taiwanese—and not Chinese—director.
中國網友為了安吉莉娜裘莉在上海說的一番話火冒三丈：裘莉說，李安是她最愛的台灣人，而非中國人導演。
Jolie was in town to promote her new film along with husband Brad Pitt when she decided to acknowledge the elephant in the room.
裘莉決定承認這個顯而易見卻被大家刻意忽略的事實時，正與丈夫布萊德彼特在上海宣傳她的新片。
The Wumao Hordes assembled in force to condemn Jolie as a hardened supporter of Tibetan independence, but owing to internet censorship they were unable to name the very idea they so detest, and were forced instead allude to Tibetan independence as simply "zd" （zangdu）.
「五毛黨」不甘示弱，群起痛批裘莉是頑固的藏獨支持者。但由於網路審查，他們沒辦法指明這個他們如此憎恨的理念，不得不改用「zd」暗示西藏獨立。
"When Chinese internet users can freely type out the words ’Tibetan independence’ then maybe they can start bragging," one commentator from Taiwan responded.
「等中國網路使用者能自由地打出『西藏獨立』這幾個字，再來說嘴吧」，台灣一名評論者這麼回應。
Others observed that "the psychological quality of the people of the Celestial Empire is so delicate, a tiny bit of teasing and they fall to pieces," and "the Chinese have such fragile self-esteems, they simply cannot abide by any viewpoint other than what the Communist Party gives them."
其他人說，「天朝人民心理素質很纖細的，一點撩撥就會受傷」，「中國人的自尊心這麼脆弱，就是無法接受任何不是共產黨給他們的觀點。」

字面上有一定的規則，還是只能用背的?
例如，as a result和as a result of
是介系詞還是介系詞片語
