個展やります。
江口寿史「キングオブポップ（予告編）展」来る５月１日から７日まで吉祥寺のリベストギャラリー創にて。
キング・オブ・ポップとは言わずもがな、かの、故マイコウ・ジャクソンの称号でありますが、「漫画界のキング・オブ・ポップ」と、ごく一部で呼ばれているワタシも僭越ながら自分で言っちゃおうと。
おれはキングだ。馬鹿なポップのキングだと。
玄光社より今夏発売予定の３冊組イラスト全集「キングオブポップKING OF POP」に先立って、予告編的にそのエッセンスを濃縮して見せします。展示作品はおよそ７０点。パイレーツ時代の漫画から今年描いた最新のイラストまで網羅！
２年前の「tone展」はパントーンオーバーレイで作った作品ばかりの展示でしたが、今回のは水彩ありアクリルありコピックあり、もちろんパントーンもデジタルもありの多彩な手法で制作された作品の展示になります。
tone展の時のように全作品ではありませんが、展示作品の複製原画と何点かの原画は販売します。画集「キングオブポップ」に収録しないであろう作品も多数展示予定。
３日、４日、５日、６日の連休にはライブスケッチイベントもやりますよ。来てくれたあなたを江口がその場で描きます！
個展の入場自体は無料ですが、ライブベントに関しては参加費としてお一人1000円いただきます。すいません。
イベント参加整理券は３日、４日、５日、６日の12時からギャラリーにて配布します。毎日先着５０名様まで。
その他、Tシャツ、トレーナー等のグッズ販売もありますのでお楽しみに！
