椅子瑜伽工作坊.

利用椅子，減緩關節負重的張力，卻也能穩定肌群。對於想鍛鍊核心與臂力肌群的初學者很有用；對於開始練習瑜伽一陣子而且想學倒立的同學，椅子是一個很穩定的輔具，增加對倒立的本體感知，而減少對倒立的恐懼。

對於肩膀或髖關節較緊的初學者，椅子能減緩地板動作的限制。而開始練習後彎的同學，椅子附加的背板減緩腰的壓力，能更穩定而安全的加強背部的肌群肩臗的開展，循序漸進的加深後彎。

Open your heart and surrender. I must admit I’m not very good at #backbends, but I’m very good at using props to make my backbends look and feel better. #fakeittillyoumakeit , right?

Even though I don’t have the most open shoulders nor flexible spine, I have learnt over the years what my body can do and can’t, and what it potentially can when I practice with caution and a tint of curiosity. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But the most important thing is to keep trying, keep listening to your body and keep breathing. The rest will flow like water 💦

I’m really enjoying the #rituals I’ve created for myself in the mornings.
Wake up at 8am, brush my teeth, use the neti pot, morning pranayama, 20 min meditation, yoga talk with @patrickcreelman at 9:30am, oil pulling, 1 hr asana practice.... this has truly kept me going each day. My husband managed to catch my #savasana today 😂😂😂 and this is what he said, “when you have enough props to have blankets for each arm and a belt for your toes”... I’m telling you, once you have #yogaprops you’ll never go back! I guess the next thing to invest in is a proper eye mask😂😂😂
