Has life left you feeling disappointed and discouraged? If you’re at a low point in your life, I want to share a story with you from the Word of God that I believe will encourage you.
.
In Luke 24, we see 2 of Jesus’ disciples who were deeply discouraged. They had lost hope in Jesus being their Savior. Faithless and hopeless, they had left Jerusalem—where all the other believers were gathered—and headed for a place called Emmaus. Yet on this road of discouragement and isolation, Jesus Himself met them. He drew near to them and spoke with them. He strengthened their hearts. He restored their courage. He resurrected their faith. The disciples were so encouraged after encountering Jesus that they turned around and walked 7 miles back to Jerusalem to encourage the others. Their encouragement overflowed!
.
My friend, this is what we need in our moments of discouragement: a fresh encounter with the Lord. Today, He meets us when we spend time in His Word. He speaks to us through anointed preaching. When you experience Him drawing near to you, you will be uplifted. You will find hope again. You can find out more about this message I preached in Israel when you visit: http://bit.ly/2tyQBoV

Beloved, the Bible says that as we behold Jesus, we can’t help but be transformed from glory to glory (see 2 Cor. 3:18)! As you keep on seeing Jesus in His love and grace for you, you can’t help but go from discouraged to joyful, from defeated to jubilant!

When God Shows you a Vision, Pray!
“Thus the Lord Yahweh showed me: and behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s harvest. When they finished eating the grass of the land, then I said, “Lord Yahweh, forgive, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.” Yahweh relented concerning this. “It shall not be,” says Yahweh. Thus the Lord Yahweh showed me and behold, the Lord Yahweh called for judgment by fire; and it dried up the great deep, and would have devoured the land. Then I said, “Lord Yahweh, stop, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.” Yahweh relented concerning this. “This also shall not be,” says the Lord Yahweh.” (Amos 7:1-6 WEB)
Some of you have been receiving visions or dreams from God.
When God shows you something, it’s not just for fun. He is inviting you to intercede and to pray about the matter.
In the passage above, if prophet Amos had not interceded for Israel, Israel would have perished from a terrible famine.
If he did not continue to pray, Israel would have been devoured by raging fire.
God loves to deal with man mercifully. When we pray for the welfare of those who ought to be punished, God has a righteous basis to spare them and transform them instead of striking them down.
“You shall make your prayer to him, and he will hear you. You shall pay your vows. You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established to you. Light shall shine on your ways. When they cast down, you shall say, ‘be lifted up.’ He will save the humble person. He will even deliver him who is not innocent. Yes, he shall be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”” (Job 22:27-30 WEB)
Because God has given man the gift of free will, He cannot infringe it—someone has to pray and consent to receiving God’s intervention.
God is looking for believers who are willing to pray His perfect will.
God is love, but He is also righteousness. If He wants to express His love for us, He must do so in a righteous way, without compromising on the perfect standard of holiness in any way.
As a royal priest to God, you have the authority to pray for others and see them delivered because of your prayers.
God will invite you to pray for people so that His plans can come to pass.
Sometimes believers forget to pray and this is when God leads intercessors to stand in the gap to pray for them.
What about the good things that happened to you when you didn’t pray?
It’s because someone else prayed for you, whether by name, or when praying in tongues.
Remember, for God’s kingdom to grow on earth, it is a partnership between God and His people.
It is an honor and privilege to serve God—one of the easiest ways available to every believer is to pray.
Through the Holy Spirit, we receive the blueprint of what to pray for, and when we pray, we see it manifested as a reality.
The next time you receive a vision or dream from God, don’t just marvel—pray!

Open note to the world:
In this dark time, we who are of faith are not disheartened. In fact, we are looking up and excited because it means our redemption draws near.
“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”” (Luke 21:28 NKJV)
One day, possibly in the near future, all Christians who believe and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, as well as young children, will vanish simultaneously from the world.
The world will search and not find them. Do not be alarmed because it means the Jesus has come back to receive His church in the air.
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” (I Thessalonians 4:16-17 NKJV)
If you miss that event which we term “the Rapture”, you will have to wait seven years before you get to see Jesus again.
The seven years period called “the Tribulation” will be a terrible time for the world. A dictator the Bible calls “the Antichrist” and “the Beast” will rule the world with harsh marshal laws and persecution of Jews and Christians.
Cataclysmic disasters and plagues will befall this earth on an unprecedented scale. Most importantly, do not receive “the mark of the beast” on your right hand or forehead, if not you will be doomed to suffer in the lake of fire (a permanent version of Hell) forever. You will know what the mark is after it is introduced after the Rapture happens.
“Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”” (Revelation 14:9-11 NKJV)
When all these things happen, you will know that the words in this note are true. At that time, believe and confess Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and hold on to that confession no matter how tough things get. We will see you again after the seven years, when Jesus returns with us to save Israel from destruction!
God loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die on a cross as an atoning sacrifice for your sins. Our God is a righteous and holy judge who has to punish sins, but He does not want you to be punished. Jesus is the only way you can be saved.
Do you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and receive the precious gift of eternal life? I’m inviting you to say this prayer: https://www.miltongoh.net/miltons-blog/salvation
