《不斷創新，走向🇬🇧、走向世界》
我們這次邀請英國駐台代表Catherine Nettleton，英國辦事處賴處長Anne ，與英國的交通智慧AI公司 Immense Simulations的CEO Robin North針對應用ＡＩ在交通運輸、人工智能的合作視訊高峰會。
Immense Simulations，開發利用ＡＩ跟模擬技術創造城市的分身，這個虛擬的模型，可以針對各種交通上面的挑戰進行模擬運算，比方說事故、天災時，一些路段會給城市造成什麼問題，以及透過運算或者ＡＩ尋求對應的方法。當然也提供給車隊、運輸企業做他們政策最佳化的運用。
會中我們聽到一個非常有意思的政策。
像是 Immense Simulations這種的新創公司，其實最開始得到的資金之一，是來自於政府，而政府則是向使用道路路權的公司，徵收經費，並把經費投資給類似像Immense Simulations這種的新創公司，這正是一個很好的正面循環，刺激更好的企業，讓企業改變城市。
市長則在知道這件事情之後，馬上寫下條子給副市長，討論台北是否可以仿效。（非常有效率）
Catherine Nettleton代表以及賴處長，在會議中，不斷的給予一些英國的例子，這種以企業為導向的國際交流，才是我們努力的方向，我們前進的方向。
我們搭橋，接下來，交通局會接手，開始一步一步的合作。

Yesterday’s video conference brought together Taipei City Government’s Smart City and Transportation departments, the British Office in Taipei (including Representative Catherine Nettleton) and the UK’s Immense Simulations.
Our focus was increased transport efficiency, making Taipei’s world class transport system even better by using simulations to “adapt to planned interventions and unplanned incidents.”
Our hope is that, not only will Taipei’s transport network continue to smoothly and efficiently allow thousands of city residents to make journeys every day, but also become more flexible and resilient; a to become a network where interventions/disruptions to roads, railways or even Ubike networks, can be effectively managed.
Taipei City is harnessing the newest technology and the most brilliant minds from around the entire world to become a global city, leading the #change in Taiwan.
