今天和大家一同來看一件可能是米芾(1052-1108) 臨仿之作的【傳晉 王羲之 大道帖】
【The Great Dao Inscription】Attributed to Wang Xizhi (303-361), Jin dynasty
🔽書法析賞:
此帖行草書兩行:「大道久不下,豈先未然耶。」拖尾有趙孟頫(1254-1322)至元丁亥年(1287)跋:「龍跳天門,虎臥鳳閣。」此帖筆畫腴潤圓柔,第一行「大」字到「下」字,連筆而書,最後一字「耶」的末筆拉長,收筆加粗,成彎弧狀。由於王羲之(303-361)沒有這類書法風格的作品 傳世,故多數論者認為可能是米芾(1052-1108)的臨仿之作。
🔽 This inscription comprises two lines written in cursive script (also called "grass script," from caoshu). The first reads, "The Great Way has not descended for some time, how were things not this way before?" Additional paper later attached to the scroll contains a calligraphic colophon written by Zhao Mengfu (1254-1322) in the Dinghai year of the Yuan dynasty (1287), which compares Wang's brushwork to a "dragon leaping through Heavens' Gate or a tiger lying at Phoenix Pavilion."
The brushstrokes in Wang's inscription are ample and rounded. In the first line, all of the characters—from the first one, "great," to the last one, "descended"—were written in a single flourish. The final brushstroke in the ultimate character, an exclamation pronounced " ye," was incredibly drawn-out, and then thickened at its tail end before turning in an arc. Because there are no other extant works by Wang Xizhi in this style, most theorists posit that it is likely a study of Wang's work by Mi Fei (1052-1108).

虎尾被稱為「布袋戲的故鄉」,而布袋戲,則是很多台灣人童年的共同記憶,想要了解布袋戲的歷史,一定要去拜訪雲林布袋戲館。
Huwei has been called the home of traditional puppet theatre in Taiwan. Many Taiwanese remember glove puppets,from their childhoods, but to really understand the history of this art form, you’ll have to visit the Yunlin Glove Puppetry Museum.

布袋戲一開始在台灣,扮演著酬謝神明和娛樂大眾的角色,盛行於傳統的廟會中,到後來,這項民俗技藝,演變成了新興的文化產業,這些過程,在館內的展示都可以看的到。
Glove puppet theatre started out in Taiwan as a way of thanking the gods and entertaining the general public at traditional temple festivals. Later on , the folk art performances were revitalizing the genre. That evolution is all on display at the museum.
要操作布袋戲,其實很簡單,你只要用食指控制它的頭,姆指和中指控制它的雙手,像這樣,然後就可以編織出屬於你自己的故事囉。
Controlling the glove puppets is actually pretty easy. Using your forefinger to move the head, and your thumb and middle finger to move the arms, like this,then you can act out your own stories.

虎尾這兩個字,在中文的意思,指的是老虎的尾巴,這地名由來有很多種說法,雖然跟老虎都沒有關係,但是這裡還是有 很多小村莊,非常值得逛一逛。
The word “Huwei” in Chinese literally means the tail of a tiger. None of the several explanations for how Huwei got it’s name actually involve a tiger, but it’s still fascinating to explore Huwei’s many small villages.

這個彩繪村叫做「屋頂上的貓」,一開始,為了改變農村單調的景色,兩個電影看板畫師,把過世的流浪貓彩繪在牆壁上,沒想到竟然變成了台灣相當熱門的拍照景點。
This village of murals is called “cat on a roof.” In the beginning, to give the village a bit more flavor, two movie billboard artists painted some wall murals of wild cats they knew who had passed away. They didn’t expect that the place would become attract photographers from across Taiwan.

現在我要參觀另一個彩繪村,這個彩繪村有什麼特別的?就是這裡只有兩個顏色「白色」和「紅色」。

北溪彩繪剪紙藝術村,是虎尾科技大學的駐校藝術家,帶領了四十位學生,所共同創造出來的作品,大紅色的剪紙圖案,彩繪在白牆,讓樸實的農村,充滿了喜氣洋洋的幸福感。
Beixi Mural and Papercutting Art Village is arists in residence at National Formosa University led 40 students in making this work. Their red papercut motif mounted on a white wall has enlivened this sleepy farmers’ village.

I went on this trip with no plan whatsoever. Literally. I just booked my flight to Krabi Thailand and figured it all out as I went. I stayed at a really cheap hotel near the city center of Krabi, and I went and booked my tours.
The first tour I went on was out to the Phi Phi Islands. It was fabulous. We stopped of at a few different islands on the way as we snorkeled, went fishing, chilled on the beach, played in the water and so much more. The tour guides were fabulous. We took a speed boat that day.
My second day: I rented a motorcycle for 250 Baht/day (aprx. 10 dollars) and I just drove around. I hit up the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua) and hiked up to the top... it was extremely tiring! I felt like Frodo and Sam from Lord of the Rings when they had to take the back way into Mordor up the big staircase (yes... i totally sounded like a nerd right there) I also hit up the Emerald Pool, hot streams, and anything else along the way.
Third and final day: I took a tour out to Hong Island on a long tail boat. On the way we hit up Red Island and snorkeled there. We stopped at another island... which I have since forgotten the name. and finally we got to Hong Island. We kayaked and it was just a blast.
If you ever want to go to Krabi, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure!

Barely any colors were changed in Post Production. This is literally all straight out of the camera. There were three shots that I stabilized at 15% and I believe about 5 shots with little color correction, but besides that it's all straight out of the camera.
I used a Glidecam HD 2000 for all of the smoothe "floating" shots

Ebi Furai (Deep Fried Prawn) is Japanese-invented Western-style deep fried dish, such as Tonkatsu.
It is a very popular deep fried main dish in Japan as well as Japanese restaurants worldwide.
Perfect for Bento box as well :)

Ebi Furai (Deep Fried Prawn)
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 15min
Number of servings: 6 pieces
Ingredients:
6 large black tiger prawn
salt and cracked black pepper
Batter
* flour
* beaten egg
* Panko (bread crumbs)
vegetable oil for frying
Bull-Dog Tonkatsu sauce if preferred
lemon wedge
shredded cabbage and tomatoes
Tartar Sauce
* 1 chopped hard-boiled egg
* 2 tbsp. minced onion
* 1 chopped dill pickles
* 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
* salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Wash, peel (leave the tails) and devein the prawn. Make 4-5 incisions (about 1/3 depth) in their stomach side to straighten them. Then cut off the tip of the tail and remove the water inside to avoid splatters when frying.
2. Season with salt and pepper. Flour the prawn lightly, dip in beaten egg, then coat with Panko. Use one hand for coating flour and Panko, and use the other to dip in egg to keep one of your hands dry.
3. Deep fry them in oil at 170C (340F) for 2-3 min until cooked golden brown. Remove them from the oil and drain.
4. Serve on plate with shredded cabbage and tomatoes. Eat with lemon juice, tartar sauce and/or Tonkatsu sauce. Anyway you like ;D
the batter is enough to make more than 6! 8 or 10 is good :)

天婦羅炸蝦 Deep Fried Shrimp Tempura
材料:
草蝦10尾、天婦羅粉漿2杯、麵粉適量
Ingredients:
10 giant tiger shrimp
2 cups tempura batter
Sufficient amount of flour
調味料:
鰹魚醬油1大匙、味醂1茶匙、高湯1大匙、蘿蔔泥1大匙
Seasoning:
1 tablespoon of smoked fish soy sauce
1 teaspoon Mirin rice wine
1 tablespoon of clear soup stock
1 tablespoon of grated radishes
天婦羅粉漿:
麵粉40公克、玉米粉20公克、蛋黃1顆、冰水75公克
Tempura batter:
40 grams flour
20 grams corn flour
1 egg yolk
75 grams ice water
作法:
1.將草蝦頭及身上的殼剝除,留下尾部的殼;調味料調勻成沾汁;將天婦羅粉漿材料拌勻,備用。
2.將蝦子腹部橫劃幾刀,深至蝦身的一半,不要切斷。再將蝦子攤直,並用手指將蝦身擠壓成長條。將蝦子表面沾上一些乾的麵粉。
3.熱鍋下約400CC沙拉油,大火燒熱至約160度後關小火並用手撈一些天婦羅粉漿,撒入油鍋中使麵糊形成小顆的脆麵粒。
4.用長筷子將浮在表面的麵粒集中在油鍋邊,一面迅速的將蝦子沾上天婦羅粉漿後放入麵粒集中處炸,使其沾上脆麵粒。
5.開中火炸約半分鐘至金黃色表皮酥脆,撈起後瀝乾油裝盤,沾沾汁食用即可。
Preparation Instructions:
Strip off the head and shell leaving the tiger shrimp's tail; evenly blend the seasoning dip and tempura batter and set them aside.
2. Make several transverse incisions halfway into the shrimp's belly without severing anything. Lay the shrimp out lengthwise then squeeze with your fingers into strips then coat the shrimp's surface with some dry flour.
3. Heat up a pot with 400CC of salad oil to about 160 degrees and then reduce to low heat. Fling small drops of tempura batter into it to form little grains on the surface.
4. With long chopsticks, concentrate the grains into one area of the pot and quickly dip the shrimp tempura into it so as to coat the surface with the crisp grains. It will spatter.
5. Turn up the flame for about half a minute and deep fry until golden brown and the skin is crisp. Pick out and move to a plate, draining the oil and afterwards dip into the sauce and enjoy.
