I’ve gotten a bunch of new followers lately (I know you guys are here for the giveaways but still 🤗😘), so I wanted to take the time to say hi and introduce my family to you. That’s Georgia on the left. She’s three, loves to sing and dance and has rules for everyone but herself. She almost never wear pants.

Then, there’s me. Malaysian who now calls Singapore home. Mother of 3, baby planner, blogger and until very recently, an author. My book #thechillmombook just released in May and will be available on e-retailers around the 🌎 and bookstores in Singapore and Malaysia. A whole lot are still sitting in my living room and I’m desperate to get rid of them. So please help me by buying them? 😆🙏

I’m holding baby Will, my youngest who’s now 20 months old. His best friend is our #GoogleHome which he affectionately call Googoo. (This photo was taken last year, btw, so don’t ask me why my kids look younger than they are. Which reminds me, we need another family photo sess soon.)

The grumpy looking girl is my oldest, Lauren. Her two main dispositions are giggling and being upset about something. She loves princesses and taking photos.

Last but not least, my dear husband Nick who’s my rock and best friend. He sacrifices himself by working 9-5 in the start-up world, so I can have the flexibility of time to care for the family and build an empire! 🤣🤣 Feel free to introduce yourself in the comments!

The end of 2019 and the end of 2009. A life in a decade. The second photo is a 29 year old, newly engaged to be married to her boyfriend of 6 years. She had spent most of her 20’s finding herself, unsure of who she was. And for the first time in her life, she realised that who she is, is in her own hands.

And so I left a job that no longer served me and plunged my life-savings to start a business for the first time. And in the decade ahead, I would work long, tiring but fulfilling hours. I would become a mother, 3 times over. I would learn to be very comfortable being very uncomfortable. I would choose to grow and stretch and learn even when it seemed impossible.

I have a lot more wrinkles and darker eye circles now. But here’s the thing: if I wake up when I’m 50 and this is my life, I will be very happy. Just like I am today. Life, in many ways, is a series of choices. Make the hard ones to build the life you want. It’s worth it.

Onwards to 2020, everyone!
