Eat. Poop. Sleep. Repeat.
No, I’m not describing your husbands (or, am I?). This is the life of a baby and if you’re breastfeeding or the food source for your baby, then a lot of your day (and night) will be taken up with either food production or food delivery.
A few tips I’ve learned from the first time around and now, the second time.
Tools to have:
Breastfeeding pillow (or pillows). Use these to make sure you and your baby are in the most comfortable position you can possibly be in, because you will be in this position often, and for long periods of time.
Breastfeeding cover (for when you’re in the public and don’t feel like flashing everybody)
Silicon pump - to collect that extra milk that comes out the other boobie. Don’t waste any good stuff!
Breastfeeding pads (But if it’s just not convenient to have both boobs out, then breast pads to collect any extra dripping is probably a good thing. Unless you like having two wet patches on all of your shirts.)
Nipple cream. Nipple cream. Nipple cream. (for those cracked, or painful nipples)
Dry wipes/drool wipes
Breastfeeding bras and tops. Clip on and off. So convenient. There are bras, bra tops, dresses, shirts, all sorts of things which can help your baby get access to your boobie easier without you having to take off all of your clothes.
Herbal teas, breast milk inducing drinks, lecithin powders to help produce more milk, but also to help from clogging your ducts.
Milk storage bags - for all that (hopefully) excess breast milk you will have and can freeze and use later.
Baby app on the phone to help you remember when the baby ate, peed/pooped, slept because time flies when you have a baby and just when you are ready to sit down on the toilet or have a nice cup of tea with biscuit, suddenly, it’s time to feed them again.
A few general rules:
Breastfeed (or pump) often to avoid engorgement, or worse, mastitis, and also to maintain your supply of breastmilk.
Change your feeding position often especially if you have hard lumps or clogging in a particular part of your boob (general positions: football, cradle, lying down, upside down… yes, as in, you are lying down and your baby is lying next to you but upside down…). Ask a lactation consultant if you have any questions or issues.
Hot compresses, hot showers, massages, vibration are great to ease the milk out or for clogged milk ducts.
Cold compresses are good if you are overly engorged and the boobies are feeling uncomfortable.
And, ladies… mommies, I know you think your child is the cutest most adorable thing on the planet (it’s not, because mine is. Just kidding. Or am I?), but you need to stop looking down at him/her while breastfeeding because you, like me, are going to get neck aches, which can lead to back pain and also headaches. But that’s WHOLE DIFFERENT post…

One of the best things about having a baby….. BIG BOOBIES!!!
Seriously though, I’m loving my new figure and it looks great in photos, but more importantly, it’s also currently: Egan’s breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, midnight snack, mid morning snack, mid mid morning snack, mid mid mid morning snack…
So, as breastfeeding moms, we are always wondering
Is our baby eating enough?
Is our baby getting what he/she needs from our milk?
Are we producing enough milk?
How can we try and keep up our milk supply?
I’ll never really know exactly how much milk Egan is getting from my lovely milky breasts, but the important thing is that he’s getting nice and fat. :) We love fat babies.
What I’ve found to be the most useful in keeping up my milk supply is to get as much rest as you can, eat cleanly, exercise (or at least stretch whenever possible) and hydrate hydrate hydrate! There’s great organic nursing teas which can help! It’s hard work being a full-time buffet!
Swipe to see who else is excited about my…. “Assets” / my new figure / my boobies/ my breastssessess

Minuman bubble tea sememangnya trend (probably for the next 1yr) tapi minum bubble tea semata-mata BUKAN lah penentu obesiti mahupun kencing manis (diabetes).
🌼 Dieting is not black or white. Dieting is black, white, kelabu dan penuh warna-warni.
Jadi 1-2 teh bubble teas seminggu bukan penentu apa2.
🥦 Jadi bab “bubble tea”, kalau tanya saya, i would not say “elakkan” kerana nak tak nak orang ramai akan minum jugak. But I would say “dont go crazy n make sure you balance it out dengan pemakanam dan gaya hidup seharian”.
🔥 Apakah pendapat anda?

Pulled chai made by a tea seller, or "chai wallah". Here's how masala chai is made at the famous Krishna's Tea Stall. Ingredients include black tea, fresh whole milk, water, black peppercorns, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom. Unlike many milky teas, which are brewed in water with milk later added, traditional masala chai is often brewed directly in the milk.
Masala chai (Hindi: मसाला चाय, literally "mixed-spice tea"; Urdu: مصالحہ چائے) is a flavoured tea beverage made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs. Originating in India, the beverage has gained worldwide popularity, becoming a feature in many coffee and tea houses. Although traditionally prepared by a decoction of green cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, ground cloves, ground ginger, and black peppercorn together with black tea leaves, retail versions include tea bags for infusion, instant powdered mixtures, and concentrates. The noun "chai" alone refers to the beverage tea; in some places, chai is an acceptable equivalent for masala chai.
In many Eurasian languages, chai or cha is the word for tea. This comes from the Persian چای chay, which originated from the Chinese word for tea 茶 chá. (The English word tea, on the other hand, comes from the Teochew dialect of Chinese teeh.) In English, this spiced tea is commonly referred to as masala chai or simply chai, even though the term refers to tea in general in the origin language. Numerous United States coffee houses use the term chai latte or the redundant term chai tea latte for their version to indicate that the steamed milk, much like a regular cafè latte, is mixed with a spiced tea concentrate instead of espresso. By 1994 the term had gained currency on the U.S. coffeehouse scene.
Masala tea is a very popular beverage in South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka). People start their day by consuming a cup of tea. This first cup of tea is fondly called 'bed tea'. Throughout the day people consume many cups of tea. Every street corner in places of business has a 'Chai Walla', a tea maker who brings hot tea to people's places of business whether they are retail businesses or commercial. Tea is a part of life and is offered to all guest at home and also to many customers visiting retail stores.

[10 REASONS WHY ASIANS DON'T GET FAT]
Now of course, there are Asians who are fat or chubby, so the title is a bit of a generalized statement or stereotype, but as a whole, there's definitely some truth to it. Genetics is an obvious factor so I'm gonna leave that one off the list.
1. Fish & Seafood
Asians eat a lot of seafood. The biggest benefit to eating fish is the omega-3 fatty acids. Fish gives our brain and body the DHA & EPA it needs. EPA in particular has been shown to prevent obesity. 1.5 to 2 grams daily of fish oil can produce weight loss of a couple pounds over a period of a month.
2. Cooking Methods
If you compare Western and Asian eating habits, sure they both consume deep fried foods, but Asian countries vary their cooking methods a lot more.
3. Food Perception
How people see and experience food can be different depending on where you are. In America, for example, food is seen more as entertainment. There is desire, joy and anticipation associated with eating. Not that it isn't in Asian countries, but it's a lot more toned down. Eating has more of a practical feel, in many cases closer to being a chore rather than entertainment.
4. Portion Size
Asians eat smaller portions. Food is often served in small serving bowls and small plates and this helps regulate how much is consumed in one sitting. Now if we take a look at America? SUPERSIZE!
5. Leafy Greens
Asian portion size in general might be smaller, but their vegetable portion size is consistently larger. In many Asian countries, people don't even need to be reminded to eat their veg. It's just ingrained.
6. Drink Habits
It is a common belief that drinking water, especially cold water, with your meal is a habit that one should avoid, as it dilutes your digestive enzymes and makes it harder for your stomach to digest food. Americans often drink cold water or sodas with their meals, not so much for Asian people however. Rather they drink hot teas before or after a meal. I should note that many experts say this is greatly exaggerated and that it's generally ok to drink water with your meals.
7. Population Density
Many Asian countries & cities are densely populated. There are lots of people living in small apartments and almost everything you need is just round the corner. Leading one to possibly conclude that many Asian people must exert less energy in their daily lives. In actuality, Asian people in this circumstance may end up walking more. With everything being in close proximity, they are more inclined to just walk to their destination, whereas in many Western countries, distances are often too great.
8. Fermented Foods
Asians consume more fermented foods such as miso, natto, tempeh, kimchi, kombucha, etc, and this is not just good for your gut health, but helps reduce the overall inflammation in the body. And inflammation is a contributing factor to weight gain and obesity.
9. Snacks & Desserts
This one's quite simple. Asian snacks, healthy, Western snacks, not so much. Asian snacks and desserts may be rice cakes, red beans, seaweed snacks, nuts, seeds, and lots of fruit. For Western snacks and desserts, you have cookies, chips, ice cream, sugary cakes.
10. Prevention vs Treatment
Asians practice prevention, while others practice treatment. With the Western approach, you have your antibiotics, antacids, NSAIDs, quick, temporary, remedies that might actually hurt you in the long run. The Asian approach attempts to get to the root of the problem using nutrition, healthy habits, prevention practices. It's a societal mindset. Health is not simply the absence of sickness.

Today, I ate from TULLY'S various new and limited time edition items like Iced Tiramisu Cappuccino ( Tiramisu is a popular coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. It is made of sponge fingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs ) and Tapioca Hojicha Latte Hojicha ( Hojicha is a Japanese green tea. It is distinctive from other Japanese green teas because it is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal ) with hot dogs, mozzarella and peppered ham sandwich and a lot more, all that is so high in calories. it was so delicious and amazingly tasty !!!
