พี่มลพาพวกเราเข้าป่าครั้งนี้ ทำให้เราได้เห็นการใช้ประโยชน์จากป่าแบบยั่งยืนของชุมชนบ้านหัวทุ่งเชียวดาว
น้ำผึ้งธรรมชาติ นับเป็นผลผลิตแสนพิเศษที่ธรรมชาติมอบให้แก่มนุษยชาติไว้เติมความอร่อย รวมถึงการเป็นยารักษาโรคที่ช่วยชีวิตมนุษย์มานานนับ พันปี น้ำผึ้งหลวงมีสรรพคุณเป็นยา เพราะผึ้งหลวงบินสูง ทำรังสูง ดอกไม้ส่วนใหญ่ที่อยู่ระดับนั้นมีฤทธิ์เป็นสมุนไพร ทำให้น้ำผึ้งมีสรรพคุณทางยาตามไปด้วย น้ำผึ้งหลวงแต่ละรังก็มีสรรพคุณไม่เหมือนกัน เพราะป่าแต่ละบริเวณมีพืชพรรณแตกต่างกัน ส่วนน้ำผึ้งของแต่ละปี เป็นรสชาติที่สื่อสารเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้นในปีนั้นๆอีกด้วย 😊
การมีผึ้งที่ช่วยผสมเกสรจะช่วยให้ป่าที่นี่อุดมสมบูรณ์ ผึ้งสำคัญมากๆในระบบนิเวศทางธรรมชาติ เพราะ‘ผึ้ง’ เป็นตัวแพร่เกสร ช่วยทำให้เกิดการผสมพันธุ์ของพืชในป่า และในการเกษตรกรรม 🌳🌳 ความสมดุลของระบบนิเวศและการอยู่รอดของมนุษย์ขึ้นอยู่กับผึ้งเลยก็ว่าได้ หากขาดผึ้งไปก็จะไม่มีการสืบทอดเผ่าพันธุ์ของต้นไม้ในป่า
การเก็บแบบอนุรักษ์จึงเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญ และควรตระหนัก เริ่มจากชุมชนที่อนุรักษ์ มีการใช้ประโยชน์จากป่าพร้อมกับการดูแลรักษาป่ารักษาเผ่าพันธุ์ผึ้งให้มีสืบแพร่พันธุ์ต่อไป 👍🏽

Bees are not just honey or wax producers, but that they also play the essential role of pollinator in our food production, and are key players in a healthy ecosystem. If we lost all bees tomorrow, our food sources would start to vanish. Chiangdao communities harvest honey made from nectar collected in the forest. This honey can be used as food or can be sold only to generate income for the forests’ maintenance where the people have looked after the forest for over 100 years.

In this video, i went ahead a did a giant plate of Hainanese chicken rice! Was intending to go 5kg but the portion that came wasn't enough. Chicken rice was prepped by my friend Edward which runs a chicken rice stall.
