這次的MV則邀請到了台灣設計師涂皓欽 (Smoky Tu) 來為《心之科學》配上動畫，以迎合歌曲中那種療愈氛圍。Smoky的作品風格多樣、大膽、充滿實驗及可塑性，擅長刻畫情感的他，用細膩筆觸描繪了一個女生失戀後的內心世界。MV從女生胸口的「樹洞」開始，通過迷宮以窺探她的迷茫與彷徨，失戀的心，跟隨歌詞起舞、變換，幻化成為「數學符號」、「宇宙行星」，那些象征「科學」的意象，能否解釋愛情？那些甜蜜的回憶，曾經在一起的畫面，在心裡不斷的浮現，循環反復，揮之不去。直到共吻的人消失，纏綿的二人只剩下一個，曾共處的美好，就此戛然而止。於是，曾攜手的兩個人，又該何去何從？後來，繃帶鬆開，是否說明受傷的心已衝破了枷鎖，得到了解脫？
最後，回到MV初始， 似乎在暗示無論曾經愛的怎樣刻骨銘心，時間都將修復傷痛，且將它埋於心底 。
