My mom-in-law doesn’t know what I do as a career. She has a vague idea that I have a blog.😄

When she asked me what I do a couple of nights ago, I replied, “I coach moms on how to build businesses from home.”

To which she asked, “Who made you a coach?”

Without a pause, I stated, “I did.”

It’s true. I didn’t wait for someone to give me permission, validation or certification to become who I want to be. I created this reality for myself. I’m proud of it.

I truly believe that you can be whoever you want to be with the right mindset and determination to learn, grow and be useful to others.

One of our family’s values is to take 💯% responsibility. And that includes taking responsibility for our present and our future. For our successes and our failures. To own that creation of our lives and never blaming the world, circumstances and others for our situation is key to success.

The best way to predict the future is to create it. Tell me, what would you like to create for yourself in 5 years time?

I wish I could show you how life as a work from home mum actually looks like. This is definitely NOT it. Matching outfits in @bunnynbloom and pretty photos? Well, just for the gram.

Motherhood doesn’t look like stock photography. It looks like changing diapers, cleaning mess, kissing boo-boos, wiping tears and snot, breaking up fights, sleepless nights, being in pyjamas all day, preparing meals, playing cheerleader, coach, referee, nurse, friend and a nag to the kids.

Adding work to the mix? It means making lists, managing deadlines, having autonomy, hiring, delegating, hiding in the bedroom to take calls, actual work when the kids are in school/asleep, errands after errands, forgetting things, screwing up and hoping that you won’t make the same mistake again.
.
For me, it’s terrifying and rewarding at the same time. I get to see my kids all the time (I’m not talking about quality time here, let’s not kid ourselves), and build something that would live long after I’m gone. That’s the goal anyway.💗

After long day of meetings, we came back home with this "I LOVE YOU" bricks.

Manage to catch them for a picture before they goes to bed. Didi not in the picture because he went to meeting with me 😂.

I'm just happy that my girls are understanding and well behave during this few days with all our late meetings. Because they are so used to us tucking them in bed, and cooking dinner for them.

That's the reason why they did a I love you bricks, thinking that they will not be seeing us before they go to bed.
