羅馬字盟友
有兩天我看見這些海報與報紙，很有感。有香港民眾為阻絕中國網軍的監控與霸凌，在運動海報上以羅馬拼音拼寫廣東話，使中國網軍產生閱讀困難。雖然粵語使用的文字依然是中文字母，但由於發音方式懸殊，因此採取以羅馬字書寫海報或文宣的象徵性做法，阻絕情蒐，並向中國政權示威。
例如，有一張海報寫著: 「Gwong fuk heung gong, si doi gak ming” 」即「光復香港，時代革命 」之意。「8.18 wai yuen gin」即「818維園見」之意。
開放多元語言與文字的使用，是擺脫中國中心、漢沙文主義，同時擁抱多元主義的解放運動。我多年來推動羅馬字運動，如今有了廣大的盟友，雖然情境有點不同。對我們來說，Safana’en caciyaw tu nu Pangcah, ta matama’ku sapinukay a lalan numita (學會講寫語言文字，才能找到回家的路)，而香港的運動，是一場沒有境外勢力介入，由香港人民主動發起追求自由、民主的運動。

為了要寫下一節，我去研究過去式的我，到底是先Po了什麼影片呢？發現是八年前，在準備出發往台灣去追星，耶，不是，教英文哈哈，錄了一首飛輪海的歌—默默。大家可能在那一年的影片，影片背景都看得到一些台灣明星的海報。我那時候沈迷台灣的偶像劇，覺得看了再多，我的中文也跟著進步了。有一天發現王力宏的youtube頻道在舉行一場翻唱比賽，很熱血的參加！後來都沒有公佈結果，但有台北的電視台邀請我上節目。（想知道克麗絲叮是否上了台北上節目，請繼續追下回分解
I scrolled to the verrrry bottom of my youtube channel to find out which song was my very first Chinese cover, and was surprised to see that I actually posted “Mo Mo” by Fahrenheit even before I moved to Taiwan. If you look at those early videos, you might see some Taiwanese idol posters hanging in the background. I was really obsessed with Taiwanese dramas then, and would watch almost non-stop to improve my Chinese speaking abilities. One day I noticed that Wang Leehom’s youtube channel was holding a cover song competition, so I recorded my own version. Although the competition never announced any winners, I got calls from some TV show producers in Taipei, wanting me to go on their shows.
