TAIWAN this one’s for you!
Taipei > Yilan > Hualien > Taroke Gorge > Kenting > Alishan > Tai Chung > Taipei
This Spring, we hopped on our bikes and circled almost the entire Taiwan in just 5 days, as the beauty of this country unveiled to us in ways we never expected.
From riding alongside the Pacific Ocean to gliding up through the mountain curves till over 2,200m in altitude up to Alishan, and strolling under endless row of cherry blossoms in an average temperature of 14°C, not forgetting to mention the food, shopping & night market paradise every town is proud to own.. who wouldn't love a place like that?
Yes, these are all wonderful memories to have and to hold. But the most beautiful thing I’ve encountered is the PEOPLE of Taiwan that truly makes the country so amazing. It was through a series of events where we were so blessed to have experienced different degrees of kindness, sympathy and understanding from the Taiwanese.. especially the police officer who caught us on the Freeway. He has undoubtedly displayed the true spirit of Taiwan people with his kindness and graciousness which left us just completely speechless.
The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.
Thank you Taiwan for being so marvellous!
