The Space Apps Challenge just announced 6 Winners and 5 Honorable Mentions out of more than 29,000 participants from 225 cities. The Taipei Team SEAL has been awarded as one of the 5 Honorable Mentions in the largest global hackathon for they embody the Space Apps spirit. The 2019 NASA Hackathon opened today. AIT, National Space Organization, Chunghwa Telecom, Taipei City Government, National Taiwan Normal University and the American Innovation Center are going to host the 2019 NASA Space Apps Challenge Hackathon in Taiwan on Oct 18-20. The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is an international hackathon that takes place over the course of 48 hours in cities around the world. It is also one of NASA’s most innovative outreach activities. Students, scientists, coders, makers, and enthusiasts are all welcome to participate.
