When I left my music teacher gig a few years ago, I didn't think I'd pick up one of the first wind instruments I started playing nearly 20 years ago again, but I guess life is full of surprises haha With under a week to prepare, I was definitely rusty and the tone was... 🙈, but at least I remembered my slide positions Lol It was so great to be able to jam with fellow musically-talented artistes and some professional musicians 📯 It was such a nostalgic moment, thinking back to the good ol' band days and also when I brought my own ensemble to a band festival as a very green music teacher 🎵😊 If I keep changing instruments every year, I'd need to start learning some new ones soon lol

我鼓勵學生去比賽，不是為了戰勝別人，是為了戰勝自己。要站上台演奏，除了要克服技巧的難題之外，也要能夠正確地詮釋出作品的風格，更難的是如何每一次都克服舞台的壓力，比之前的自己更好。恭喜學生們吳沛璇、蘇筱雯、姜婷方在中華民國文化盃音樂大賽獲得佳績，也謝謝評審的肯定和對演奏的建議。同時學生家人們的用心支持，還有鋼琴家林琦紜老師、吳孟娜老師、邱淑貞老師的演奏和迅速的舞台反應也幫大家加分。
再次恭喜你們，不是因為你們戰勝了別人，而是因為你們戰勝了自己。
