หลวงพี่ก็ถามโยมว่า คนแก่เป็นอะไร โยมบอกว่า ถูกลูกสาวแท้ๆทำร้ายร่างกายเป็นประจำ ทั้งตบ ทั้งตี กลัวว่ายายจะตายเสียก่อน ชาวบ้านแถวนี้ก็ไม่รู้จะไปช่วยยังไง ไปยุ่งเขาก็ด่าเสียๆ
หายๆ หลวงพี่ก็บอกโยมว่า ขอให้หลวงพี่ฉันท์เช้าเสร็จก่อน แล้วจะไปตรวจสอบดูให้...เมื่อหลวงพี่ฉันท์เสร็จหลวงพี่ก็เข้าไป
ดูบ้านที่ญาติโยมบอก ก็เคาะประตูอยู่นาน จนมีโยมมาเปิดประตู
ให้ พอประตูเปิดก็ได้กลิ่นทั้งฉี่แมวกลิ่นอับกลิ่นสิ่งปฏิกูลจำทำ
ให้ต้องหยุดนิดนึงแล้วพี่ก็เห็นหญิงแก่คนนึงนอนขดตัวอยู่ใต้
แคร่ เนื้อตัวมีแต่รอยช้ำ หน้าผากมีรอยแผลยาวประมาน2นิ้ว ลึก
ประมาน1เซ็น แต่แผลเริ่มแห้ง แต่ไม่มีการเย็บ ถ้าบาดแผลแบบ
นี้ต้องได้รับการเย็บแต่นี้ไม่มีการรักษา หลวงพี่ถามกับผู้หญิงที่อยู่ด้วยว่ายายเป็นอะไร..หญิงคนนั้นบอกว่ายายล้มใส่ตู้ แล้วขอบตายายทำไมเขียว เขาตอบว่ามันก็โดนตู้เหมือนกัน..ยาย
ไม่พูดอะไรสักคำ เหมือนกลัวอะไรบางอย่าง หลวงพี่ดูบาดแผล
แล้วก็บอกกับโยมผู้หญิงว่า ยายต้องไปทำแผลที่โรงพยาบาล
เพราะแผลอาจจะติดเชื้อได้ แล้วผู้หญิงคนนั้นก็ถามว่า แม่จะไป
ทำแผลรึเปล่า ทำให้หลวงพี่ทราบว่า โยมคนนี้เป็นลูกสาวยาย
ที่ทำร้ายแม่ เมื่อสาวถามเสียงค่อนข้างดุ ยายก็ยกมือไหว้หลวง
พี่ บอกว่าไม่เป็นไรเจ้าค่ะ ฉันไม่เจ็บอะไร หลวงพี่ก็เลยบอกว่า
ไม่ได้ จะไม่เจ็บอะไรก็ต้องไปโรงพยาบาลเกรงว่าแผลจะติดเชื้อ
หลวงพี่พูดอยู่สักพักทางลูกสาวก็ให้แม่ไปโรงพยาบาล หลวงพี่
จึงเรียกรถพยาบาลของมูลนิธิร่วมกตัญญูพายายไปส่งที่โรง
พยาบาล ระหว่างออกมาจากบ้านผมได้ถามความเป็นจริง ยาย
ก็กลัว ไม่กล้าเล่าความจริง เพราะกลัวกลับไปบ้านต้องโดนตีอีก
แน่ๆ หลวงพี่ก็เลยบอกยายว่าเขาจะไม่ได้ยายอีกแล้ว เพราะ
หลวงพี่จะเอายายไปดูแลเอง ยายดีใจยกมือไหว้ท่วมหัวแล้วก็
เล่าให้ฟังทุกอย่างว่า โดนลูกตีมาตลอด ทั้งตบ ทั้งตี เมื่อ2วันที่
แล้วก็ตบยายอย่างแรงจนหน้าผากยายแตกตาบวมคล้ำ ยาย
ก็ได้แต่อดทนไม่รู้ทำยังไง พูดอะไรเขาก็ตบ ยายมีลูกคนเดียว
ก็คือเขา. ยายบอกถ้ายายหลับไปเขาต้องเอายายตายแน่เลย
หลวงพี่บอกว่าไม่ต้องกลับไปอีกแล้วนะ หลวงพี่จะเอายายไปดู
แลเอง ที่ศูนย์มุฑิตา ที่หลวงพี่ดูแลอยู่10กว่าคน ยายจะได้ไม่
เหงา แล้วจะไม่ถูกใครทำร้ายอีก...ตอนนี้ยายอยู่ในความดูแล
ของหลวงพี่แล้วนะโยมสบายใจได้..คนเราก็นะ ทำไปได้ แม่บัง
เกิดเกล้าแท้ๆ บาปกรรมจริงๆ..
