Since your spirit has been resurrected to enjoy eternal life with God, you cannot lose your salvation and you can never face judicial condemnation for your sins which were borne and punished in Jesus’ body at the cross.
“What does this mean? I’m free to do anything I want and I can never be condemned to Hell?”
Yes it is true. God held nothing back in saving you—you have been perfectly cleansed by Jesus’ blood, made righteous forever.
““All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.” (1 Corinthians 10:23 WEB)
God doesn’t retain any part of your salvation as a leash to control you by fear of condemnation.
No, that would be manipulation, not true love.
True love gives unconditionally, even when there is a chance of no reciprocation.
“Then what is stopping me from going out there and sinning crazily if I can do whatever I want?”
Firstly, out of gratefulness to Jesus, we who have a revelation of how severe sin is such that God’s Son had to bleed and die for us, will not desire to go back to what He has saved us from.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 WEB)
It’s when you view sin lightly that the problem happens. Even though you will never go to Hell once you’re in Christ, there are still earthly consequences of sin that can affect your un-regenerated body and soul (mind, will and emotions).
Sin still bears fruit to death in your mortal body and sabotages the inward peace that you enjoy from walking by the Holy Spirit.
“But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, produces death.” (James 1:14-15 WEB)
You won’t be happy or healthy if you keep deliberately sinning. You’ll live a defeated Christian life as a slave of sin and wonder how you got to such a tragic state.
Yes you’re free to choose to sin, but it still has earthly consequences that you can’t avoid.
“The serpent said to the woman, “You won’t surely die, for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”” (Genesis 3:4-5 WEB)
The devil’s tactics haven’t changed. Like how he tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden, he still tries to make you doubt God’s word.
He even makes it sound like God is stingy, trying to restrain your joy, hold back good things from you and that sinning is actually good for you.
How many people have a pet sin whereby they justify inwardly, “I am allowed to have this one small vice. It hurts nobody and it’s nowhere nearly as bad as those crazy murderers out there.”
When you fall to the lie that sin is trivial with no negative consequences, that’s when you get bound in it.
Why are you comparing your sin with the sins of others?
Sin is sin and any sin still destroys and is a breeding ground for death.
The devil will use that small sin that you allow and nurture the seeds of death sown from it.
The more you allow it and justify it, the worse its appetite grows. The small way of practicing that sin no longer satisfies your flesh and it craves for more!
When it gets so bad, you’ll find yourself feeding all other parts of your life just to appease the vicious monster that you’ve bred in your own home.
“She caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me!” He left his garment in her hand, and ran outside.” (Genesis 39:12 WEB)
It’s easy to say no and resist it before the seeds of death have taken root.
Be wise like Joseph and run away from the tempting situation, giving no chance for the devil or your flesh to persuade you.
“With persuasive words, she led him astray. With the flattering of her lips, she seduced him.” (Proverbs 7:21 WEB)
The longer you stick around like Eve or the gullible young man in the verse above to hear the devil’s presentation of “Why It Is Okay and Good To Sin”, the surer you will fall prey to it.
Don’t hang around—run for your life! Your happiness is found in walking by the Holy Spirit, not in indulging in the flesh’s sinful desires.
Follow the Holy Spirit and He will lead you to the abundant life in Christ whereby you prosper in all things, enjoy good health, even as your soul prospers from receiving God’s word!

(( 5 Key Points from the Apostle Paul ))
“From Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called to himself the elders of the assembly. When they had come to him, he said to them, “You yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, how I was with you all the time, serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears, and with trials which happened to me by the plots of the Jews; how I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house, testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus. Now, behold, I go bound by the Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there; except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions wait for me. But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God. “Now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I went about preaching God’s Kingdom, will see my face no more. Therefore I testify to you today that I am clean from the blood of all men, for I didn’t shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood. For I know that after my departure, vicious wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Men will arise from among your own selves, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore watch, remembering that for a period of three years I didn’t cease to admonish everyone night and day with tears. Now, brothers, I entrust you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I coveted no one’s silver, or gold, or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands served my necessities, and those who were with me. In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” When he had spoken these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all. They all wept a lot, and fell on Paul’s neck and kissed him, sorrowing most of all because of the word which he had spoken, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.” (Acts 20:17-38 WEB)
Imagine for a moment that you’re on your deathbed and have one last chance to tell your loved ones something.
Wouldn’t you say the most important things in your heart and hold nothing back?
That’s why I feel that the passage above is so powerful.
It records the Paul’s last words to the elders of the Ephesian church and the touching moment as they bid farewell for the last time.
Let’s break down this passage and take away some revelations from it.
1. Serve the Lord humbly without fear of persecution.
2. Declare the whole counsel of God, which is the Good News (Gospel) of the Grace of God.
3. Beware of false prophets who will try to lead you astray with false teachings.
4. The Word of God’s Grace is the one that builds you up and gives you your inheritance in Christ when you believe in it.
5. Work diligently and make an honest living, sharing your resources with those in need - with men, it is more blessed to give than to receive - the Lord will repay you with eternal rewards.
Meditate on the 5 powerful lessons above. They are the extracted from the words that poured forth from the deepest recesses of Paul’s heart, after his legendary ministry of establishing the early church for the Lord.
These valuable words of advice are aimed at leaders in the church, so if you desire to lead and feed the body of Christ effectively under the New Covenant of Grace, keep these lessons in your heart!

When Jesus was on earth, He gave two commandments from God: Believe in Jesus Christ whom God the Father has sent, and love one another just as Jesus loved you.
Jesus said that whoever keeps His commandments will remain in His love. Therefore, the definition of someone who doesn’t remain in Jesus must be that he or she never believed in Jesus as Lord and Savior in the first place.
The Apostle John wrote about such people who pretend to be believers who physically mingle with the true believers but they themselves are not really born-again.
Eventually, they depart from the church, drawing believers who are weak in the faith to their side with false teachings that sound good to the flesh (1 John 2:18-19).
These false believers have their own evil agendas, to lead the true believers astray, to propagate their own causes.
One such false believer who was literally with Jesus physically and later on didn’t remain with Him is Judas Iscariot.
He is an example of an unfruitful branch which God took away (John 17:12 WEB).
Judas went to hell not for betraying Jesus, but because he never believed in Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
He probably just followed Jesus so that he could steal money from the money box, since he was the treasurer (John 12:4-6).
That was his evil agenda as a false believer, and money is probably the reason for many other false prophets and teachers that have arisen throughout history since then.
Jesus explained further what He meant by separating unfruitful and fruitful branches in His “parable of the wheat and darnel weeds” in Matthew 13:24-30.
As Jesus said, the darnel weeds grew together with the wheat (Matthew 13:36-43, 49-50).
Darnel weeds look very much like wheat until they’re mature, and then the difference becomes obvious.
It's almost impossible to tell the difference between wheat and darnel weeds just from a glance!
Likewise it is hard to differentiate between true and false believers.
With our own eyes, we won’t be able to tell because very often, the false believers are good at pretending to really believe - even worshipping together at church but meanwhile their hearts are far from the Lord.
However God clearly knows the difference and He knows who is His own.
All false believers will be thrown into the lake of fire at the end of time, and all true believers will enjoy eternal life with God.
This is what Jesus meant when He said every branch in Him that doesn’t bear fruit God will take away, and they will be thrown into the fire to be burnt!
