Christopher Plummer นักแสดงรุ่นเก๋าเจ้าตำนานแห่ง Hollywood จากไปอย่างสงบด้วยวัย 91 ปี ที่บ้านพักของเขาใน Connecticut โดยมีภรรยาคู่ชีวิต Elaine Taylor อยู่เคียงข้าง
Christopher Plummer เกิดและเติบโตใน Canada เริ่มต้นอาชีพในวงการบันเทิงในฐานะนักแสดงละครเวที Broadway ก่อนจะเฉิดฉายบนจอภาพยนตร์กับ Stage Struck (1958) และกลายเป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้างกับบทบาทที่ทำให้เขาเป็นไอคอนของวงการใน The Sound of Music (1965)
คริสคือดาวที่ไม่เคยหยุดฉายแสง มีผลงานภาพยนตร์รวมแล้วกว่า 119 เรื่อง อยู่คู่วงการบันเทิงมากว่า 60 ปี ร่วมงานกับผู้กำกับชั้นนำมากมายในผลงานอย่าง The Insider, Malcolm X, A Beautiful Mind, All the Money in the World, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Up และ Knives Out
