Managed a lighting trip to Kuching, don't ask how I managed - 5 mins of repacking my luggage from Melbourne and jumping on the first flight I found😁 Anyway - this was a lovely discovery for me - a little restaurant selling Kelabit food called Tribal Stove. Yummy local food.

Liling is the unofficial 'anthem' of the Orang Ulu (upriver people) of Sarawak. Liling means to turn around, and so during the chorus, people will dance in circles. People take turns to sing the verses, which are made up on the spot based on the occasion of the gathering.
I call this the 'traditional version' because I usually play it in a medley of two song (Liling & Pemung Jae)
