A house of LOVE. This is one of my favourite parts of our home and I am glad that we can look at this everyday and remind ourselves that there is nothing more important than love. The hubby came up with this idea after looking at this LOVE photoframe that we bought in Sweden and I designed our storage cupboard in the dining area to incorporate it. We passed the frame to our carpenter and tasked him to cut out the doors of these display cabinets accordingly to the shape of the letters. He has never done anything like this and it took a long wait but everything was worthwhile as it turned out so pretty and just one of a kind. Cos' books are our good friends and we wanna give them a proper home. Yup, this is how our library looks like at last and it is my favourite part of the house for now. I love that it can contain all our books and is truly one of a kind in the world. Hopefully, this will inspire the kids to keep on reading. One of my furniture designs is coming to life today and I am so excited!! Yup, this library tree made me rack my brains for many nights because it was really hard trying to come up with the exact dimensions of the shelves and making sure that everything fits nicely ino the canopy.
