鬼島上沒有任何對宗教信仰的限制，也沒有任何歧視弱勢族群的制度，更沒有任何言論和思想上的打壓．也就是說，你要信什麼教都可以，包括那些被某些國家列為邪教或叛軍的宗教．如果你想發表什麼樣的言論，書籍甚至任何形式的藝術創作在這裡都不會有問題，也不會被對付．同性戀和變性人在這裡不會被鞭打擲石，也不會被關起來，甚至誇張到讓他們能夠註冊結婚．這種喪盡天良的制度，竟被鬼島上的人以 “人權和自由”拿來包裝，真的是無藥可救．
因果報應，經過幾十年這種錯誤的管理方式，鬼民開始要造反了．他們開始媚外，開始崇拜那些充滿歧視及霸權的國家，對島上生活越來越不滿意，抱怨自己生活在這個鬼島上的一切．看到這個活該的局面，讓黃明志萌生了創作靈感，寫了這一首【鬼島】，還邀請了住在這座島上的一隻很大支的鬼來一起合唱，希望能夠一起將鬼民的心聲傳達給世界知道．
