Tonight we celebrated Ayla's one month birthday with family and as lovely as the evening was, it was a bit hectic as she had gotten over stimulated. Poor girl became so tired that consoling became trickier. Isaac also had a mini accident because I was so occupied trying to calm down the baby that I forgot to ask if he needed trips to the bathroom. We all got back home and realised after all the hustle and bustle, we forgot to take our own photo so right before the kids got their baths, we took a quick snap. In this moment, I realise just how truly lucky we are to have each other and be safe and sheltered in our little place we call home.
