The press conference for the upcoming “AKB48 Group Asia Festival 2019 in SHANGHAI,” which will take place at the Shanghai National Exhibition & Convention Center on August 24th, was held at a hotel in Shanghai.
A member from each AKB48 group - #AKB48 Mion Mukaichi, #JKT48 Beby Chaesara Anadila, #BNK48 CHERPRANG, #MNL48 Abby, #AKB48TeamSH Mao WeiJia, #AKB48TeamTP Chen Shih-ya, #SGO48 Kaycee attended the conference on behalf of their teams to talk about the charms of this festival and what their fans can expect along with their messages for their fans in China.
On the cue given by Mao WeiJia(AKB48 Team SH), who nicely hosted the conference, all the members appeared on the stage and performed “Koisuru Fortune Cookie” together for the fans who won the chance to be there. Following the special collaboration, Mao WeiJia taught other members how to do the very popular Chinese “Public Square Dance” and they all performed it on the spot. The members also introduced a gift that each of them brought for their fans in China and showed the calligraphy that they tried on a word「福」, expressing their thanks China-style, truly showing fans their zeal for this Asia Festival.

8月24日に上海国家会展中心 虹館で開催する「AKB48 Group Asia Festival 2019 in SHANGHAI」のプレス発表会が上海で開催されました。AKB48および各海外姉妹グループを代表して、AKB48 向井地美音、JKT48 Beby、BNK48 Cherprang、MNL48 Abby、AKB48 Team SH 毛唯嘉、AKB48 Team TP 陳詩雅、SGO48 Kayceeが出席。このAsia Festival の魅力や意気込み、中国のファンへのメッセージを伝えました。
今回の発表会で司会を担当した現地上海の姉妹グループAKB48 Team SHのキャプテンである毛唯嘉の呼び込みによって、メンバーがステージに登場し、抽選で当選したファンのために『恋するフォーチュンクッキー』をパフォーマンス。このスペシャル・コラボに続いては、中国では誰もが知っている「広場ダンス」を毛唯嘉から教えてもらったメンバー全員が、即興でダンスを披露。
また、各メンバーが中国のファンのために持ってきたプレゼントを紹介したり、習字で書いた「福」の字を披露したりと、中国風のスタイルで感謝と、Asia Festivalに対する熱意を現地ファンに伝えました。
