【澳洲生活】身為快足月的準媽媽，最近在墨爾本的生活實在沒什麼好分享的😬 一下子封城、又剛好奧運開始，整天在家擺爛🤣
唯一最刺激的應該是墨爾本突然封城的前一晚，與好姐妹們去看由電影《Magic Mike 舞棍俱樂部》改編的舞台秀 Magic Mike Live 🙈💪
一群猛男在前面大跳熱舞，讓我們這一群年過三十的女人們好興奮🤤
記得第一次去看這種猛男秀是大學時期，當時還會害羞😳 之後陸續姊妹們的告別單身派對都會請一些來猛男跳舞，但還是不敢眼神對看🙈
現在準備當媽媽了，還真的沒什麼羞恥心，胸肌在我前面晃動反而會咯咯笑🤣
其實這個秀還蠻有藝術性值的，後面還有與女舞者一起共舞，有點類似太陽馬戲團🤹 而且整個場地沒有很大，我們買 AUD$99 在中間的票就已經有很好的視野，而且猛男們也都會在整個場地走動喔😘
總而言之，不到二十天就快沒自由了，要趕緊享受人生啊~🤣🤣🤣
Ps. 話說我有朋友私訊我，問我真的喜歡這種秀嗎？ 我很好奇，真的有人不喜歡肌肉喔？？🤔🤨🧐

Life has been a bit dull for mama-to-be who's 37 weeks pregnant😬 Especially with the lockdown & restriction, the only thing to do these days is to watch Olympics and be a couch potato 🤣
The only exciting thing worth sharing was probably the Magic Mike Live show we watched the night before Melbourne's snap lockdown 😆
I remember I was so shy back in uni when I went to my first performance like this😳 Now I just don't care!! So much giggle seeing muscles dancing in front of me😛
To be honest, the show was pretty good. Especially towards the end the male & female dancers danced together, actually reminded me of some circus performances 😊
Also the venue wasn't large, so we got decent views despite paying for middle tier tickets 😬 Not to mention the dancers made sure almost everyone there got some sort of interactions 😆
One of my friends actually private messaged me asking if I truly enjoyed it🤔 Are there really people who doesn't like big muscles???😆💪

不過，如果你正在學習美國英語，那可要知道“building up an appetite”（越來越有食慾，胃口越來越大）和“being on the menu”（在菜單上）這兩個英文說法的用途不見得總與吃有關。前者還可以指越來越有慾望；後者可以指在所提供的選擇之列。
像這樣與飲食相關的比喻說法，在美式英語中還有不少。它們既可以給語言交流增添色彩，也能使它更有效傳神，一起來學學吧：
Icing on the cake （蛋糕上的糖霜或點綴）
含義: 可以指在本來的好東西上再添加一樣好東西，錦上添花
舉例: ”I received a big raise at work. The same day, my boss gave me an extra week of vacation. It was icing on the cake.”（我得到公司的大筆加薪。同一天，老闆又給我一周額外的假期，真是錦上添花。）
Big cheese （大奶酪/大亨）
含義: 有權有勢的要人；大亨
舉例: “She must be a big cheese in the company. Everyone listens to what she says, including the company president!”（她肯定是個要人。所有人全聽她怎麼說，包括公司總裁！）
Best thing since sliced bread（自從有切片麵包以來的最大好事）
含義: 用來熱情表示某人或某事是多麼了不起
舉例: “You got me a new bike for my birthday! You're the best thing since sliced bread.”（你送給我一輛新自行車作生日禮物！你真是最大的好人！）
Food for thought （思維食品，即啟發深思的事）
含義: 引人思考的事情
舉例: “The school principal wants to abolish the use of exams in the classroom. Some teachers don't agree but say the idea is food for thought.”（校長想取消課堂考試。一些教師不贊成，但表示這個設想可以令人深思。）
Couch potato （沙發上的馬鈴薯/成天看電視的人）
含義: 長時間坐在沙發上看電視或者吃零食的人
舉例: “Let's go for a walk or a bike ride. I don't want to be a couch potato.”（咱們去散步或騎車吧。我不想成天呆著看電視。）

I know I owe you guys some translations or subtitles but seriously there are alot of English speaking beauty youtubers already and I always want to have Cantonese sharings plus I don't have time to put on subtitles : ( OK I am lazy.
So this video is basically about how I spend my holidays, I mean daySsss because I have a super hectic schedule and I often choose to sleep till the end of the world if I only have one day off, if, lucky enough I have more than one day, instead of spending it like a couch potato, I start to do something meaningful to me and myself only. There are times when we felt guilty not to spend time with our families, our husbands, our kids or our clients if you are a freelancer like me, but as time goes by, I find that no matter how busy I am, I need some time to be alone, it's benefitial to my overall performance and mental health and it increases my efficiency at work too, because I have time to allow new thoughts to come up, and I won't live with the guilt of not doing anything as well. Those piled up letters, emails, bills, messy rooms are going to bring us alot of negativity and stress, why don't we deal with them when we are free and allow genuine and long lasting happiness to come into our lives?

前陣子因為疫情關係買了Netflix。
但為了避免自己過太廢，所以規定自己只能看十集以內的劇，免得因為看劇變成一灘爛泥耽誤生活(當然已經破戒這只是安慰自己……)。這次跟大家分享的《火神的眼淚》與《我是遺物整理師》分別是台灣、韓國2021年5月同期推出的職人劇，都是十分滿分的十集劇喔！
兩部劇都是從「大眾不熟悉甚至有很多誤解的職業」切入，進而帶出複雜、值得深思的社會議題。
很多時候，我若只站在自己的角度去思考、只相信眼睛看到的，很容易被現象界蒙蔽，試著把眼睛閉起來，學會「用心」去溝通、傾聽，那麼人與人的心就會更靠近。

Recently, I subscribed to Netflix due to Level 3 COVID-19 alert.
To avoid becoming a couch potato, I restrict myself to watch dramas which are within 10 episodes, or I'll waste too much time in them(Of course I break the rule so it's only for comforting myself......).
Topic today, "Tears on Fire" and "Move to Heaven" are Taiwanese and Korean drama of craftsmen, respectively, released in May, 2021.
They're ten out of ten, with 10 episodes!
The two dramas draw on occupation that the public is unfamilliar with or even misunderstands, and then bring out some social issues.
Most of the time, if I don't think in a different light and only believe visible things, I'll be blinded by material universe.
Try to close your eyes, and use your heart to communicate and listen to others, so that our hearts can be closer.
The world is not simple, but we can always be sincere, respectful and embrace everyone's differences more!
Prepare a box of tissues, and watch the two tear-jerker dramas!
