以下是我SC上課的筆記 但我自己在看的時候有些地方我不是很懂
希望高手能幫我解答 謝謝
In the United States, while the number of foreign-born residents and their
childern is higher than ever,
the percentage of the population they represent is not; in 1910 this group
made up 35 percent of the
population, compared with 20 percent in 2000.
這邊的用法是compared with，既然要比較，一定要含動作才有辦法來比較。
compared with放在句尾一定做副詞片語 表達比較的概念 此時他的修飾對象邏輯主語
可能是前句的主詞或受詞
此例可比性的對象是第三行的受詞35%

＊我的問題：
1. " compared with要含動作才能比較 " ，有這麼嚴格嗎？ 那麼上例中
所含的動作是否是made up.
2. " compared with一定作副詞片語，此時它的修飾對象邏輯主語是前句的主詞或受詞 " ，
但副詞片語不是修飾動詞或是形容詞嗎但前句的受詞percentage是名詞。

about 35% a decade ago.
此例可比性的對象是前面的主詞：43% are Hispanic

請問這是怎麼看的，我覺得還是43%跟35%在比較 ... 怎麼知道比較的對象是Hispanic
