近日 Netflix 無預警拋出了第二季，動畫技術明顯進步，八集的風格卻不如第一季強烈，趨於單一也少了些許驚喜，但幸好，還有最後壓軸的《溺斃的巨人》The Drowned Giant，就有如《茲瑪藍》Zima Blue 之於首季的地位，並非尋常科幻故事能夠相提並論。《茲瑪藍》在短短十多分鐘的時間裡，探究了何謂藝術，何謂哲學，何謂永恆，何謂永劫回歸，何謂無限重複與倏忽即逝；而《溺斃的巨人》也依然延續其中的道家思想，透過一個詩意傷感的故事觸碰著生與死，輕與重。

「我覺得最迷人之處，當然一部分是因為他巨大的身形，但更重要的是，就只是他確實存在的絕對事實，不論我們生命裡有什麼值得懷疑之處，這巨人的確實存在讓我們一窺相似的絕對世界，而我們在海灘上的目擊者只是如此不完美且弱小的複製品。」

改編自末日小說大師 J.G. Ballard 1964 年出版的短篇故事，猶如《格列佛遊記》有一尊擱淺於漁村一處海灘上的巨人屍體，彷彿從神話走入現實，俊美似雕塑般的輪廓靜靜等待被潮起潮落抹去臉孔，人類踩上他的肉體，玩弄、塗鴉、留下醜陋痕跡；巨人的身軀很重，生命同等輕盈，反觀人類何其渺小，力量卻足以褻瀆美與神聖，甚至在各取所需後恣意蒙蔽真相，一切都是對立的。主述者為一位科學家，起初只肯遠觀，直到時間漸漸消耗了此具軀殼的生命力，他鼓起勇氣踏上他的身體，親眼看見無異於庸俗人類的痛苦、孤寂、不幸與頹敗顯現時，才願意邁向假象終結以及理想幻滅的現實。

《溺斃的巨人》的主軸是死亡，卻在形體消逝，記憶淡去的過程訴說著天地不仁，天道有常，巨人的許多部分卻成為鎮上生活的風景，骨頭、鼻子、耳朵，碎成器官；科學家接受了天地之所以能長且久的原因，也承認再完美、再宏偉的事物終將和其光，同其塵，領悟萬物皆為芻狗，於生命的消長中真正理解了生命，於道的為而不恃中看透了社會和人性的荒謬。

We made jello that looks like a watermelon, but is strawberry-banana flavored! How confusing!
*Recipe*
1. Grease the mold with vegetable oil
Red Jello
2. Dissolve 5 boxes (425g) of red jello into 740ml of boiling water.
3. Once it has all dissolved, pour in 150ml of water and stir.
4. Place the pot in ice water and stir the mixture as it cools. Once the mixture begins to thicken, it hardens very fast, so be careful.
5. Once the mixture has thickened to the point that it will not sink, remove it from the ice water.
6. Add 13g of dried blueberries and stir.
7. Pour 6 into 1, until the height reaches about 5 cm.
8. Seal the jello from 7 tightly with saran wrap. (To make sure the jello to be added later does not become separated)
9. Cool in the refrigerator for about 1 hour and a half.
White Jello
10. Mix 4g of powdered gelatin with 25ml of water.
11. Heat 10 in the microwave, making sure that it does not boil, and dissolve the gelatin.
12. Add 210ml of milk heated to about 60 degrees Celsius to 11 and stir until it dissolves.
13. Pour 65g of sweetened condensed milk to 12 and stir until it dissolves. Let it cool.
14. Carefully remove the wrap from 9 and pour 13 in until the height increases by about 1cm. (About 50ml of jello liquid will remain)
15. Cool in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
Green Jello (Contains Yogurt)
16. Place 25g each of yellow jello and blue jello in a heat-resistant container, pour in 35ml of boiling water and stir until it dissolves.
17. Add 70ml (73g) of sugar free yogurt and stir.
18. Heat for 1 minute in a 600w microwave and stir. Add food coloring in your favorite.Let it cool.
19. Pour 18 into 15 until the height increases by about 5mm.
20. Cool in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
21. Place 20, including the pot, in hot water and remove the jello onto a plate.
22. Cut it into pieces and enjoy. Please decorate it as you like.
We had many problems, such as the different types of jello separating, and not being able to find green jello at the store. Use all of your power to eat it!

Recipe: (1 liter milk carton for one bar)
1. Add 10 gm of blue Hawaiian syrup to 75 gm of sugar cider.
2. Pour in 1 to a one liter milk carton
3. Place it on its side and freeze for one hour. It takes about two hours to harden
4. Make 1 again and pour into 3. Place it on it side again, this time the opposite side and refreeze
5. make 1 again and pour 70 gm of it into 3. Place it on its side and freeze
6. Repeat 5 again to make four sides for the soda ice.
7. Make a soda ice mix using half of the portions for 1. Put 35 gm of it into 6, this time while the carton is standing.
8. Put 15 gm of sugar into two eggs and whip well on a vessel heated in warm water at about 50 degrees to making a foam. Take out the eggs from the vessel once they are warm.
9. add 15 gm of sugar to 135 gm of fresh cream. Add a few drops of vanilla essence and make a foam. Make it so that it's a little harder than 8.
10. break 9 down to portions of one-third each and add to 8. Mix quickly so that the foam doesn't disappear.
11. Pour 10 into 7 and freeze.
12. After an hour, insert the cookie into the bar. Cookies that are about 2 cm wide would be the most suitable size.
13. After 3 hours, tear the milk carton and take out the ice cream bar.
14. It's really filling because it's so big. It's not too sweet so you could add more sugar according to your preference (up to 45 gm).

*レシピ*（1リットル用の牛乳パック 1個分）
１．ブルーハワイシロップ 10gに加糖サイダー 75gを入れる。
２．よく洗った、1リットル用の牛乳パックに１を流し入れる。
３．倒して冷凍する。2時間弱で固まる。
４．１を再度作り、３に流し込み、反対側面に倒して冷凍する。
５．１を再度作り、３に70g分 流し込む。倒して冷凍する。
６．５を再度繰り返し、4面のソーダアイスの壁を作る。
７．１の半量でソーダアイス液を作り、６に35g分 流し込み、今度は立てて冷凍する。
８．卵 2個に砂糖 15gを入れ、50度はどの湯煎にかけながらしっかりと泡立てる。途中、卵が人肌に温まったら湯煎から外してよい。
９．冷やしておいた、生クリーム 135gに砂糖 15g、バニラエッセンス 数滴を入れ泡だてる。８のより少し硬いくらいまで泡立てる。
１０．９を８に1/3ずつ加え、泡を消さないように手早く混ぜる。
１１．１０を７に流し込み冷凍する。
１２．1時間程経ったら、バーに見立てたクッキーを差し込む。2センチ幅のものがサイズ感がちょうどよい。
１３．さらに3時間冷凍したら牛乳パックを破いてアイスバーを取り出す。
１４．でかいから食べごたえあるよ。甘さ控えめのできあがりなので、バニラアイスの砂糖をお好みで増やして（〜45gまで）作ってください。
