Highlights from the fights of Tiger Muay Thai fighter Marcel "Babysumo" Gaines. Since joining Tiger in July 2012, Marcel has notched up a record of 17 wins and 7 losses, competed on both the King's and Queen's birthday events in Bangkok, took second place in the 2013 AITMA Nai Khanomtom tournament, won multiple Phuket stadium belts and fought for the Z-1 World Title in Malaysia.
Following an injury, Marcel has taken a break from fighting for a few months and has become a skilled pad holder.

This was a highly anticipated rematch between Tiger Muay Thai fighter Marcel Gaines from South Africa and Malaysian 60kg champion Mat Ropi.
In their first fight in December 2012, Mat Ropi (a veteran of around 200 fights) took a close decision victory. This time, Marcel kept the pressure on Ropi and dominated the fight from round 3 onwards. Unfortunately due to the special rules in the part of Malaysia where the fight took place, there was no judges decision at the end of the fight and it was ruled a draw.

Good luck to Tiger Muay Thai fighters Marcel "Babysumo" Gaines, Ncedo "Nintendo" Gomba and Kevin Foster who are heading up to Bangkok for their fights at two big events in celebration of her majesty the Queen of Thailand's birthday.
On the 11th Marcel and Kevin will be fighting at the World Professional Muay Thai Federation Queen's birthday event at Sanam Ma Nang Lung, a prestigious event that always attracts a huge crowd and televised live on Thai TV.
A day later on Monday, Ncedo fights at Rajadamnern stadium's Queen's birthday event. Ncedo is matched up with strong Thai fighter Kingstarlek Athikomgym. Ncedo will be looking to continue his winning streak after his impressive debut at the stadium in June, which he won by knockout.
