Last night, Malaysia announced that it would impose a Movement Control Order to combat the spread of COVID-19. This was not surprising, as many other countries have already imposed similar lockdowns.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and I discussed the situation on the phone today. I told him that I understood the reasons why he had made this move, and wished Malaysia success in containing the outbreak. I was happy to hear his reassurance that the flow of goods and cargo between Singapore and Malaysia, including food supplies, would continue.
However, Malaysians living in Johor but working in Singapore will have to comply with the Malaysian lockdown. This will prevent them from commuting daily, at least for the time being. We are therefore working out arrangements with our companies to help these Malaysian workers stay in Singapore temporarily, if they would like to do so.
We also agreed to appoint Senior Ministers on both sides – SM Teo Chee Hean and Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri – to coordinate our responses to the COVID-19 outbreak, particularly on measures where we can work together, or where the actions of one country will affect the other. They are already in touch, but it may take a couple of days for arrangements to be worked out and to settle down.
Meanwhile, I am happy to see that in the supermarkets, while the queues are longer than usual, people are taking it in their stride and only buying what they need. We need not worry, as we have prepared for such an eventuality, and have plans in place to cope. Glad that Singaporeans are calm, united and resilient as we solve the problems at hand. – LHL

Every performance has a message to convey, a story to tell. Last night at the QQ Music Awards, I was very excited to be sharing the stage with students from the Shenzhen University. They wore tees with the word "Dreams" imprinted on them, where they wrote down their own dreams in life at the back of their tees. Thank you for instilling a deeper meaning to the song "Adolescent" with your effort!
Last but not least, thanks again for the awards:
Best Original Album, Best Male Vocalist, Best Selling Digital Album!

After reading Amazon forest news, it's very sad. If you follow our work, we will know that we have been there many times to this forest.
Every time I go, it feels like it's a phenomenal place. The wilderness is 11 times bigger than Thailand. Eat 9 countries and on Earth. There is nowhere more biodiversity than Amazon forest. Every square meter of the Amazon. This forest is full of details of life. Just one tall tree under the root of the spider on the trunk is the big termite on the top of the top is the bird's nest and the Gibbon family house. This is where there are many natural details.
Therefore, every forest, every square metre burned. It's not just trees missing. It's the ecosystem. It's a life cycle that is profound beyond human comprehension.
This year, there are 72843 wildfires happening in Amazon more than last year 80 %!!! And the whole process. It's based on human results. Simply explained. Brazilian new government of President Jair Bolsonaro has an ′′ open forest ′′ policy to make space. Economy has sprung the Amazon forest this summer, more than the last 3 years!!
It's about wildfires. In the Amazon forest, it's normally over half of rain is made from trees in the forest. By releasing humidity into the atmosphere. When the forest is gone, the area dries up, the forest fire is easier ng̀āy less rain. There is no water to extinguish the fire as a reaction to the forest. It's faster to disappear.
In the world's ecosystem, don't forget that the Amazon forest absorbs the huge amount of carbon out of the atmosphere of one hundred million tons! + Now the tree that was cut or burnt, releases carbon back into the atmosphere. It's becoming an accelerated reaction to the global warming.
Just like the arctic ice that melts a lot. Reduce the white area on the earth's crust. The result is the light that shines from the sun. It doesn't reflect the atmosphere as it used to (this is the important page of the polar ice). It turns into ice. The more melting, the more accelerating the skin of the Earth accumulates more heat.
Don't think this is far away. Earth is all connected. For example, Amazon forest soil minerals that really grow trees. An important part of the sand in the Sahara desert that is on different continents and it was winded across the Atlantic Ocean in South America.
What happened in another hemisphere, it hits the rest of the people. It's fast and slow.
Now we're going to save the world as an individual. It's going to slow down the situation. But what the world really needs is a systematic international government collaboration that seems to come through every year with nothing going seriously.
In private sector, creating a new economic system that looks at market and resource management is completely different. It's very necessary because it's clear that our world can't support the current system.
Investing in an alternative energy. It has to create jobs and make profit! Creating an electric system that all people can use natural energy, produce energy for themselves to use, and sell it back. Why not! And many more, many innovations that I believe in human technology have been ready for a while. But the motivation to change seriously.
Let's do something together. ′′ At least ′′ now, I'm not in time. Now I'm very
Let's start with making Agenda the environment become something that is being talked about in Thai society. It must be said with understanding to lead to a solution that actually works in the future.

Michael Jordan's coach pleaded with him to go back in the game, and the opposing coach made sure Jordan had the chance to end his career with a basket.
Jordan's last shot was a free throw, and like his final appearance in an NBA uniform, it was good.
One of the greatest players in NBA history played the final game of his illustrious career Wednesday night, not in the setting that he would have preferred but in a special atmosphere nonetheless. Jordan's final moment on the court ended with him receiving applause and a lengthy standing ovation from nearly everyone in the arena -- including the coaches and the other players.
He soaked it all up with a wide smile and a wave to the crowd after exiting for good with 1:44 remaining in the fourth quarter of a 107-87 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
``Now I guess it hits me that I'm not going to be in a uniform anymore -- and that's not a terrible feeling,'' Jordan said afterward. ``It's something that I've come to grips with, and it's time. This is the final retirement.''
Jordan finished with 15 points, four rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes -- drawing several adoring ovations from the last sellout crowd that will ever watch him play.
``The Philly people did a great job. They gave me the biggest inspiration, in a sense,'' Jordan said. ``Obviously, they wanted to see me make a couple of baskets and then come off. That was very, very respectful, and I had a good time.''
Jordan's final points almost looked scripted, with Eric Snow of the 76ers fouling him in the backcourt for no apparent reason except to send him to the line.
``Coach (Larry Brown) told me to foul him, get him to the line to get some points and get him out of there,'' Snow said.
Both foul shots went in, and the Wizards committed a foul one second later so that Jordan could be removed from the game and receive the proper send-off. In a rare scene, the 10 players who remained on the court turned to Jordan and applauded, too.
The 40-year-old Jordan would have preferred to end his career in the playoffs, but the Wizards never clicked during his two years in Washington and finished 37-45 in both seasons.
But that was merely a footnote on this stirring night, the last time the basketball public was treated to one of the greatest athletes in history playing the game one last time.
Jordan finished his career with 32,292 points -- the third-highest total in league history, behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone. His final career average of 30.12 goes down as the best in NBA history, just ahead of Wilt Chamberlain's 30.07.
``I never, never took the game for granted. I was very true to the game, and the game was very true to me. It was just that simple,'' Jordan said.
With the Sixers ahead by 21 points with 9 1/2 minutes remaining, the crowd began chanting ``We want Mike.'' The chant grew louder as the period progressed with Jordan remaining seated, and fans ignored the game to stand and stare at the Wizards' bench, wondering why Jordan wasn't playing.
This being Philadelphia, they eventually booed.
Jordan finally pulled his warmups off and re-entered the game with 2:35 left for his brief final appearance.
``I played here. I told him I at least have to be able to come back (to Philadelphia),'' Wizards coach Doug Collins said. ``I told him to go back in for a minute. He said, 'I'm stiff.' I said, 'Please. They want to see you.' He said, 'Larry Hughes is going to foul out soon, so put me in then.'''
Earlier in the game, Jordan showed his age.
There was a play in the first quarter when he looked like the Jordan of old, except for the result. Starting near the foul line, Jordan ducked his shoulder, lowered his head, stuck out his tongue and drove to his right, the ball rolling off his fingers ever so softly as it arched toward the net.
Rather than going in, though, the ball hit the front rim and missed -- one of several of his shots that came up a few inches short.
One of the exceptions was Jordan's final shot of the first half -- a one-handed dunk that came after he received a nice pass under the basket from Bobby Simmons.
Jordan hit his first two shots of the third quarter but didn't do much else positive in the period. On an alley-oop pass from Tyronn Lue, the ball hit him in the fingertips and bounced harmlessly away. A lazy crosscourt pass was picked off by Aaron McKie, leading to one of Philadelphia's 31 fast-break points. Jordan's final field-goal attempt was a missed layup with 8:13 remaining.
``I'm not embarrassed,'' Jordan said, ``but it's just not ... I've had better feelings in terms of playing a competitive game.''
The standing ovation that Jordan received lasted about three minutes, with Jordan smiling, nodding and chewing gum throughout. The group Boyz II Men sang ``It's So Hard To Say Goodbye'' between the first and second quarters as a montage of Jordan's career highlights was shown on the scoreboard.

The MV is finally here guys. About this work of music, I'd have it split into 2 parts. Simply because there were too many people contributing to the birth of these wonderful memories.
Part 1: THE TRACK
The track is called "There were...", an old song of mine which was reinvented to perform with Kenyan Boys Choir. This version was arranged by my respectful friend Nguyễn Thanh Tú.
About Kenyan Boys Choir, The Kenyan Boys Choir is a choral ensemble of talented boys from high schools and colleges around the country. The choir is dedicated to moulding a world-class choral outfit that offers a platform for its members to nurture and showcase their natural talents while imparting life principles of discipline, hard work, perseverance, persistence, and determination. During the performance, their eyes and smiles make all the differences, in both geologically and racially vanish. We recorded this track in 8/2019 at their studio in Nairobi, this wonderful collaboration had been done in my tour at Kenya this year - Dreamers Concert 6 - Awaken A-moment.
This track belongs to a music project called "Dreamers Concert World Music" which had been working on for the last 4 years long by me and Nguyen Thanh Tu, and today we enjoy the first song, "There were". All the other songs won't be published into an album, but totally free on my Youtube channel for everyone to enjoy. Just hit that 'Subscribe' button and wait for the release. The "Dreamers Concert World Music" project has 10 tracks, both newly-written and rearranged for me to perform with international artists from Mongolia, Bhutan, and Africa during these past few years. [2015 - 2019]
Without Tú's amazing efforts dedicated to the arranging of the tracks as well as the making of Dreamers Concert, I'd never had these precious opportunities to perform and play music with all these wonderful artists around the world. I really appreciate and love the music through Kenyan Boys Choir's voices. It's like the sounds from Heaven even I have no the slightest idea of what heaven is.
The additional recording and Mix&Mastering had been done in Vietnam thanks to the work of Minh XRecords. Thank you for patiently helped me in perfecting this musical work of mine.
Part 2: THE MUSIC VIDEO
To start out this part, I'd like to send my deepest thanks to the Red Team, the wonderful people who had taken care of my music video despite the tight conditions that we were in, to be able to record these simple, yet lovely and touching footages. Special thanks to Bi (Pierre Châu), Bô (Paul Châu), and Mr. Lê Hoàng for contributing countless valuable footages for the making of this Music Video.
Thank you, Ms. Nga, Mr. Tenzin, and Ms Tú for making the trip possible and help us be able to have this amazing journey. Last but not least, a special thank for Tiki which has accompanied me in this project. From all these kind and humble dedications, here is the birth... of "tám chữ có - There were"
I hope everyone enjoys, encourages, and shares this moment with me and the team behind it.
Sincerely,
Lê Cát Trọng Lý
