เขาก็ทำแท้งให้คนที่มีปัญหาท้องไม่พร้อม ทำตามหลักเป๊ะๆ
แต่ถูกคนในองค์กรเดียวกัน ส่งเรื่องไปร้องเรียน บอกว่าเขาทำผิดจริยธรรม
ทำบาป ทำกรรม ให้สอบจริยธรรมเพื่อถอดใบประกอบวิชาชีพ
ทุกวันนี้อาจารย์ท่านนั้นก็ยังอยู่ในระหว่างถูกสอบอยู่
เอาเป็นว่า นอกจากจะต้องแก้ค่านิยมคนในสังคมแล้ว
แม้กระทั่งคนเป็นหมอด้วยกัน มันก็ต้องมาคุยกันเรื่องนี้นะ

การแนะนำให้ตั้งครรภ์ต่อ ก็คงพูดได้แต่หลักการเอาเข้าจริงๆ ก็ไม่มีที่ไหนที่จะดูแลหญิงตั้งครรภ์คนนั้นไปตลอดชีวิต ปัญหาของเขาคือ ความไม่พร้อม ไม่ว่าจะเป็นทางครอบครัว ทางด้านการเงิน และอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย ถามจริงๆ มีองค์กรไหนที่ดูแลเขาไปตลอดชีวิตมั้ย? ถ้ามีช่วยแนะนำด้วย จะได้ส่งคนไข้ไป

การแนะนำทางเลือกยุติการตั้งครรภ์ขณะเรียนก็รู้ว่ามีโรงพยาบาลที่เราควรส่งไป เอาเข้าจริงๆ ก็เหมือนแค่พูดชื่อโรงพยาบาล ขั้นตอนเป็นอย่างไรก็ไม่รู้ เพราะอาจารย์ไม่ได้สอน อาจารย์ไม่ได้แนะนำรายละเอียด อาจารย์บางท่านไม่มีแนวทางเลือกให้ด้วยซ้ำ โรงพยาบาลที่เรียน แพทย์สภา หรือกระทรวงสาธารณสุข ก็ไม่ได้มาเน้นในหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอน ทำให้เราก็ไม่รู้ว่าต้องทำอย่างไรในด้านการบริหารจัดการ

เมื่อเรียนจบมามีความรู้ความสามารถ ที่สำคัญคือ รู้สึกเข้าใจหญิงที่ท้องไม่พร้อม พวกคุณที่ต่อต้านการยุติการตั้งครรภ์ เข้าใจผู้หญิงเหล่านี้แค่ไหน ถึงยังต่อต้านการยุติการตั้งครรภ์?

“คนรอบตัว” คือใคร? ไล่ตามลำดับมา ได้แก่ เจ้าหน้าที่ห้องทะเบียนทำบัตรผู้ป่วย เจ้าหน้าที่หน้าห้องตรวจ เจ้าหน้าที่ห้องยา ผู้ช่วยพยาบาลเตรียมคนไข้ก่อนทำการยุติการตั้งครรภ์ พยาบาลผู้ทำการฉีดยาเพื่อให้หมอทำการยุติการตั้งครรภ์ด้วยการดูด รวมถึงวิสัญญีแพทย์ และพยาบาล บุคคลเหล่านี้ ถือเป็นบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ แต่กลับสร้างความยากลำบากให้กับแพทย์ผู้ที่จะทำการยุติการตั้งครรภ์ให้หญิงที่ท้องไม่พร้อมมากที่สุด ด้วยความคิดที่ว่า การยุติการตั้งครรภ์นั้นเป็นบาป ไม่อยากมีส่วนร่วมใดๆ ไม่อยากแม้แต่จะยืนใกล้ๆ เพื่อทำหน้าที่ของตนเอง

สถาบันต่างๆ ที่ผลิตบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นโรงเรียนแพทย์ สถาบันฝึกอบรมพยาบาล ผู้ช่วยพยาบาล ควรสอนให้รู้จักคำว่ายุติการตั้งครรภ์โดยมีข้อบ่งชี้ ไม่ใช่เป็นการทำบาป ทำให้ดูเหมือนว่า แม้จะเรียนจบมามีความรู้ มีใบประกาศ แต่กลับไม่มีวุฒิภาวะทางความคิดในเรื่องนี้

การยุติการตั้งครรภ์ในมุมมองของคนที่เป็นหมออย่างผมนะครับ คือ การให้การรักษาคนไข้อย่างหนึ่ง ไม่ใช่การทำบาป การให้การรักษา หรือการให้การช่วยเหลือเพื่อนมนุษย์มันจะเป็นบาปไปได้อย่างไร
