說明：第43屆國際技能競賽昨晚在巴西聖保羅舉行頒獎與閉幕典禮，中華代表隊勇奪5面金牌、7面銀牌、4面銅牌和18個優勝獎，創歷屆最佳成績。
國際技能競賽（WorldSkills Competition）被喻為「技能界的奧林匹克」，是全球規模最大的技能大賽。來自63個國家和地區的1189名選手在建築技術、創意藝術和時尚、資訊和傳播技術、製造和工程技術、社會服務及交通運輸等6大類別共50項技能展開競技。
Congratulations to Team 🇸🇬 at the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Competition (WSC) in Russia!
The WSC is the world championship for vocational and technical skills. This was our largest contingent – 32 youths. Team SG won 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals, and 17 Medallions for Excellence. We placed 9th out of 63 countries – our best-ever performance!
The team comprised students from our polytechnics, Institute of Technical Education, Singapore, and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. They competed in 29 skill areas, including 6 new categories like Water Technology and Cyber Security, in both of which we won the bronze medal. These reflect the rapidly-evolving needs of the world, and I’m glad that Singapore’s youth are poised to meet future challenges. – LHL

Our SG Team competitors have done us proud at the 2017 WorldSkills Competition in Abu Dhabi, the "Youth Olympics of Skills".
The 21 polytechnic and ITE students competed in 19 skill areas. They won 2 gold and 3 bronze medals, plus 8 Medallions for Excellence.
Olivia Low, a Logistics & Operations Management graduate from Temasek Polytechnic who currently studies business at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, clinched the gold medal in Freight Forwarding; while Ng Jun Xuan, an ITE graduate in Digital Animation and current Nanyang Polytechnic student in Digital Game Art and Design, scored the gold in 3D Digital Game Art. The contingent also won medals in Health and Social Care, Information Network Cabling, and IT Network Systems Administration.

The Singapore team also won three bronze medals and eight medallions of excellence.
The 43rd WorldSkills Competition was held from 11 to 16 August 2015 in São Paulo, Brazil, has attracted some 1,200 young talents from 59 countries and regions to compete in 50 different skill competitions. This year, Hong Kong brought the largest-ever team comprising 18 members to compete in 16 trades and won seven Medallions for Excellence.
The 44th WorldSkills Competition held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, came to a successful close on 19 October with the Hong Kong Team winning a Bronze Prize in Beauty Therapy and Medallions for Excellence in seven trades. The WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition is a biennial event with an aim to promote excellence in skills and enhance public awareness on vocational education and skills training. About 300 young professionals competed in 25 skill categories with 11 of them staged at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on 27-28 June for the first time.
Over 25,000 visitors attended the 2-day Competition cum Carnival. Apart from the competition, the concurrent seminars, career advisory service and a wide range of Have-a-Go activities were well-received by the students, parents and teachers.
