ทุกวันนี้ งาช้างเป็นเสมือน“กระดูกต้องคำสาป”ของเผ่าพันธุ์ช้าง ช้างจำนวนมากต้องมาสังเวยใบสั่งตาย เพียงเพื่อนำงามาทำเครื่องรางของขลัง - เครื่องประดับของผู้มีอันจะกิน ด้วยความเชื่อที่สวนทางคำสอนของทุกศาสนา! ที่สอนให้ "ละเว้นการเบียดเบียน"
ถ้าคุณไม่เห็นด้วยกับการเบียดเบียนนี้ เราขอเชิญคนไทยออกมาร่วมกิจกรรมเพื่อแสดงจุดยืนร่วมกับเพื่อน อีก 39 เมืองทั่วโลก ว่า
เราคนไทย "ต้องการใ้ห้มีการยุติการค้างาและชิ้นส่วนช้าง" ก่อนที่ช้างจะหมดไปจากโลกนี้
ในอีก 2วัน คนทั่วโลกจะออกมาพูดแทนเผ่าพันธุ์ช้าง!! เพราะงา เป็นของช้าง ไม่ใช่ของมนุษย์ " ในวันที่ 4 ตุลาคม นี้ “WE WON’T SUPPORT IVORY TRADE” ( TH/EN )

วันศุกร์ที่ 4 ตุลาคม 2556 นี้ เราขอเชิญคนไทยที่รักช้าง ออกมาร่วมแสดงจุดยืนร่วมกับเพื่อนๆ ทั้ง 39 เมืองทั่วโลก ในกิจกรรมรณรงค์เดินเชิงสัญลักษณ์เพื่อช้าง International March for Elephants - Bangkok
นี่ไม่ใช่การประท้วง แต่เป็นการเดินรณรงค์ร่วมกับคนหลายประเทศทั่วโลกเพื่อแสดงสัญญลักษณ์ในการพูดแทนช้าง เป็นการแสดงจุดยืนให้นานาชาติรู้ว่าเราคนไทยไม่เห็นด้วยกับการค้างาช้างเปื้อนเลือด แม้ประเทศไทยเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศในแถบเอเซียที่ถูกทั่วโลกตราหน้าว่าเราพัวพันกับการค้างาช้างเปื้อนเลือดเป็นดับสองรองจากจีน พวกเราคนรักช้างรักแผ่นดินเกิดต้องช่วยกันออกมาแสดงพลังเพื่อบอกให้คนทั้งโลกได้ทราบว่า " คนไทยส่วนใหญ่ไม่เห็นด้วยกับการฆ่าช้างเอางา"
และ ณ วันนี้มีเพื่อนๆจากประเทศในเอเชียที่ไม่ได้จัดงานแจ้งความประสงค์จะเดินทางมาร่วมกิจกรรมกับพวกเรา เช่น เพื่อนๆคนรักช้าง จาก สิงคโปร์ มาเลเซีย เกาหลีใต้ อีกหลายท่าน
รวมทั้งจะมีตัวแทนจากองค์กรสิทธิสัตว์จากนานาประเทศเข้ามาร่วมกิจกรรมกับทางเรา เพราะเนื่องจากประเทศไทยเป็นที่จับตาในเรื่องนี้ ธุรกิจที่ก่อให้เกิดการฆ่าของคนไม่กี่คน อาจะทำให้ช้างสูญพันธุ์ และ อาจจะทำให้ประเทศไทยถูกกีดกันทางการค้า ถ้าไม่มีการยุติการค้างาที่เป็นปัญหาของโลกใบนี้ ขอเชิญคนไทยออกมาร่วมกิจกรรมเชิงสัญลักษณ์กับพวกเราครับ
กิจกรรมภายในงาน
1. 15.30 -16.50 น. ลงทะเบียนรับเสื้อ "Ivory belongs to Elephant. Not people " ฟรีจากทาง AAA Thailand รวมตัวเตรียมเดินรณงค์ ณ ใจกลางกรุงเทพ บริเวณหน้า ห้างสรรพสินค้า MBKcenter ลานฝั่งโตคิว
โดยพร้อมใจกันสวมเสื้อและถือป้ายรณรงค์
2. 17.00 น. เริ่มกิจกรรมเดินรณงค์ ผู้มาร่วมเดินช่วยกันแจกสติกเกอร์และแผ่นพับให้แก่ผู้ที่สนใจ ในระหว่างทางการเดินรณรงค์
3. 18.00 น. จบการเดินรณรงค์ด้วยการแปรอักษร " Hope for all Elephant " ที่หน้าห้างสรรพสินค้าเซน และเป็นอันสิ้นสุดกิจกรรมครั้งนี้

INVITE you to be part of global march and be the voice for elephant by joining the event “INTERNATIONAL MARCH FOR ELEPHANTS- BANGKOK” aim to STOP IVORY TRADE on Friday, October 4th, 2013 at 05.00 – 06.00 PM in the heart of Bangkok CBD
As of October 4th every year, it is “World Animal Day” and this year, conservationists and animal rights activists around the world are in collaboration to promote the “STOP IVORY TRADE” campaign which is critical situation for elephant everywhere in the world.
In every year, lots of African and Asian elephants get killed for their ivory. Some people still being misguided by the gullible believe those ivory and elephant carcasses are for luck!!!! Ivory trade is legally allowed in many countries by ignoring the fact that elephant is murdered. Even in some temples and churches supposed to teach people about mercy and compassion but proudly possess and present the objects craving from the death to display their power.
Thailand is the second-biggest market, just after China, for ivory. Elephant is threatened and endangered because the need of the ivory. The more demand of ivory increases, the more elephant gets killed. In Thailand, some groups of people are comforted and connived to let them continue ivory and elephant carcass trade as well as investigation is still not practical and effective enough.
So, it’s the time to step out and speak up to let the world hear us sayin’

The event time schedule
04.00 PM Registration at MBK Center - Tokyu Zone on Rama I Rd. , Pathumwan Intersection, Bangkok
- receive a FREE T-Shirt “ivory belongs to elephant. Not people” from AAA Thailand
- get yourself ready for peaceful walk rally by wearing the T-Shirt and displaying the sign-board
05.00 PM Marching from MBK center , Pathumwan Intersection, Bangkok to ZEN department store, Central World, Ratchprasong Interesection
- promoting and distributing the campaign stickers, flyers and leaflets
06.00 PM Finishing the event by participate in OUR ACTIVITY in the theme of “Hope for Elephant”
Please note: all the materials required for the event, we are going to provide them to all participants and it’s free of charge.
If you are animal lovers and want to be a part of the march to protect their life, all we need is your TIME. Only 2 hours on Friday October 4th, 04.00 – 06.00 PM
