This woman’s day I pay a tribute to the saree! It is not a garment or an outfit it is a part of our essence as Indian women! I know I sometimes take it for granted just because I see it all around me but it is only when I wear it that I realise that special feeling it brings up within me, a feeling of unity with generations of women that have nurtured me, my mom, my grandmoms, my sisters, my aunts, my girlfriends, my nieces, any and all the women that have contributed to my life and to my place in this world as an Indian woman! All the Indian women that have broken through barriers of perception and created an identity for women in our country! It is that feeling of being all woman! Everything strong beautiful caring protective confident and loving! Unfortunately A woman in india today is something like a saree, taken for granted by its own people, used for convenience and misunderstood by the world! The beautiful graceful garment that shelters & protects with five meters of cloth wrapped specifically around the female form protecting the most delicate parts of our bodies no matter what physical conditions we have had to exist in! Be it working in the fields in the harsh sun, doing housework or sitting at a desk in an office, walking a red carpet or sweeping it, the saree like the Indian woman has adapted and triumphed over all situations! And she has done it with class and elegance!

コンセントを収納できるボックス付きなので、見た目の悪いアダプターやコンセントをすっきり収納できます。
レザークラフトなどの軽作業にも使える作業台としても使う予定です。
