［日本砂糖］English below
其實來到日本後，有聽說砂糖不能吃，但一直沒去追究，直到昨天一位VEGAN前輩在分享餅乾時，特別提到她分享的餅乾用的是甜菜糖，所以「大丈夫 (沒問題) 」，我才追問下去的。日本的砂糖含有動物性成分這件事，已經顛覆我原有的觀念了，原以為甜食避開蛋、奶、明膠就好了，會比鹹食安全一點，這樣想想這兩個月以來我吃了多少的砂糖......為了贖罪我來乖乖翻譯了...
先撇開精製糖對健康的影響，之所以不能吃是因為在製糖的過程中會加入牛骨炭、骨炭。其作用是為達脫色及去除雜質之效。
在日本，基本上含有動物性成分的糖有:白砂糖、三溫糖、冰糖。(雖然並不是所有的製程中都含有)
🌱植物性糖有:
1. てんさい糖 (甜菜糖)
2. 黑糖
3. 可可糖
4. 楓糖
5. 羅漢果糖
6. アガベシロップ (龍舌蘭蜜) --> 這個文章中沒提到，是前輩額外提及的
基本上成分表上如果只寫 「砂糖」我是不建議買(照片2)，除非他有特別註明此砂糖是由植物提煉出來的，才比較安心。(照片3-4)

It is better not to buy the product that only mark 砂糖（Satou) on the label (fig. 7), because the process of white sugar in Japan is still sometimes made using the animal bone char to whiten the sugar and to remove impurities. And also the soft brown sugar and rock sugar. If the label on the product mark 砂糖（Satou) made from てんさい糖(Tensaitou) or other plants. (fig. 8-9) That is fine.
🌱Sugar made from plants:
1. てんさい糖 (Tensaitou)
2. Non-Centrifugal Sugar
3. ココナッツシュガー (Coconut sugar)
4. Maple syrup
5. Siraitia grosvenorii (monk fruit)
6. アガベシロップ (agave syrup)
