เมื่อวันที่ 26 ก.ย. ที่ผ่านมา เป็นวัน The Last of Us Day ซึ่งเป็นวันครบรอบการวางจำหน่าย The Last of Us ภาคแรก ซึ่งเหล่าแฟนๆ ซีรีส์นี้ได้ตั้งความหวังว่า อาจจะมีการประกาศเปิดตัว Factions ซึ่งเป็นโหมด Multiplayer ของ The Last of Us Part II ที่ถูกตัดออกไปจากตัวเกม เพื่อนำไปต่อยอดพัฒนาให้ดีขึ้น

แต่น่าเสียดายที่กลายเป็นว่า ทาง Naughty Dog ไม่มีการเปิดเผยใดๆ เกี่ยวกับโหมดนี้ในวันที่ 26 ก.ย. ที่ผ่านมา และไปมุ่งเน้นที่ภาพ GIF ใหม่, ไกด์การแต่งคอสเพลย์เป็น Abby, แจกธีม PS4 ฟรี และอื่นๆ ที่อาจจะทำให้แฟนๆ บางส่วนรู้สึกผิดหวัง
