Ok for real, here's our sensible wedding guest selfie. It was such a calm and amazing day. I didn't doll myself up too much. I didn't take too many photos because I just wanted to enjoy the moment of my friends being married. It was just such a lovely night catching up with old friends. I'll tell you what I did though. I ate way too much cake (worth it!!) and I danced embarrassingly to way too many 90s songs (totally worth it!!!!!!). Congrats to Lisa and Loki!! 😘
"A few years ago, I put across three prayer requests to Joseph Prince Ministries after hearing Pastor Prince’s encouragement. I was believing God to meet these prayer requests for the year.
They were namely, to have the opportunity to share God’s Word on a platform, to find a suitable life partner, and for the Lord to look after my mother when I’m unable to do so due to other responsibilities.
In the middle of last year, I started dating someone whom I really like and who complements me in every way.
We are getting married in a couple of months and God has provided for the wedding by keeping the costs very minimal.
We have also been receiving amazing provisions that help us prepare for our future together.
At the end of last year, I also became an assistant pastor in my church. It has been an exciting experience as I get to share God’s Word with the youths through preaching and songs of worship.
God’s grace has been truly amazing. I know that in and of myself, I’m not qualified or worthy of what I have today.
It is through Christ and His blood that God’s blessings are being poured into my life.
I’m still praying for my mother and believing God will continue to look after her as He has always been. I know that He can well provide for her just as He has for me.
In retrospect, God has been faithful over the past years in preparing me to do the things that He has placed in my hands today. I feel deeply loved and greatly blessed."

Tai Tzu-ying, who has been the world’s top-ranked female badminton player since December 2016, becomes the first Taiwanese ever to win the women’s singles title at the prestigious All England Open, achieving another milestone for Taiwanese badminton. While Tai certainly appreciated capturing the title, she was probably not as fond of the attention it brought. When Tai does live streams on Facebook, she’ll sing songs by pop idol J.J. Lin while eating candy and chatting with fans. But away from social media, Tai is much more like the Lone Ranger. Back in Taiwan, it is 10:30 a.m., and the national badminton team’s morning workout has come to an end. The only one out there is the headphone-wearing Tai cooling down on her own. At noontime, she is sitting alone for lunch, focused completely on her food. Her mother Hu Jung says her daughter has always preferred peace and quiet, shying away from commotion. “She doesn’t go to wedding banquets because she’s afraid people will want to take their picture with her,” Hu says.
