意外的看到這麼多人關注論文的事件我很感恩，甚至有來自國外的記者想要了解經過，也從回應感受到台灣人強大的團結力。
Springer Nature集團底下有超級無敵多期刊，不想直接公開期刊名字只是因為我並不知道這封以「編輯室」名義回應的信到底出自誰手，會有這樣的決定又是哪個角色主導；我在內文中也有強調這不見得與Springer Nature有關，畢竟信件公開部分都寫了它們是”politically neutral”。
但我只是個普通小角色，不是公眾人物、在學術方面更是剛起步菜鳥，那也是我在個人私人臉書發的貼文；還是想請媒體不要未經同意就任意轉載至新聞，並加上許多無關且模糊焦點的內容與照片。(Eg. 什麼秀智火辣性感等等⋯這些不只和投稿無關，也跟我一點都不像，本人是走帥氣隨意Man路線。）
然後！台大是個很棒的地方，但我已經畢業很久了，真的不用要寫什麼就把名字跟母校連在一起；你們創作點閱率的作法其實會造成市井小民我的困擾，更可能給我過去的學校添麻煩，在此也想跟可能受困擾的機構或人們道歉。
也已經不是第一次發這種文了，希望做研究的大家在這條路上都能自然順利；我已經在與未經同意刊登媒體溝通中要求撤文，抱歉浪費社會資源，感謝你們關注愛護台灣🇹🇼
Really surprised that the post about an email asking our research team to add “China” after “Taiwan” from the editorial office of certain journal received so much attention from not only Taiwanese but also foreign journalists.
The reason that I didn’t disclose the name of the journal in my post was that the email was sent in the name of the “editorial office,” and we couldn’t be sure about who was in charge of this decision and whether it was related to the chief editor. Also, it was written clearly in the mail that “the Springer Nature remains neutral,” so I wouldn’t say it was definitely them to blame for.
It’s encouraging to know that people do care about our beloved country, yet I’m neither a public figure nor a renowned researcher, and I don’t think it is appropriate for my personal post to be edited into any kind of news. Furthermore, I’ve graduated from NTU for more than a year, and it’ll be bothering for both my home school and me to have our names tied together whenever news come up. (I feel really sorry about this..)
This is not my first time posting things like this, and I just hope that every researcher get unprejudiced treatment when submitting to any journal. Last but not least, thank you all for loving and supporting Taiwan ! 🇹🇼
