Yet through it all - I survived. And I thrived. And it reminds me of one of my favourite underdog stories ever…

Takumi, the hero of the story, doesn’t have a supercar or some other fancy sports car...
He just has a Toyota AE86.
It’s not powerful, it’s not expensive, and it’s not really a car for racing at all...
But no one can beat him! And even though they all have better cars - he is still better and he still wins.
And in life, it’s the same.
Some people will start out with better circumstances than you.
They may look like they have it all. Or that the odds are all stacked against you.
But just like I did it. And just like Takumi did it. You can do it too.
You can prove them all wrong.

“You can’t write best-selling books. You’re not an author!”
“You can’t get 1,000,000 subscribers on YouTube. You have a weird accent!”
“You can’t become a global educator. Who the hell do you think you are?! You don’t even speak English properly!”
But here I am...
You see, in life there will always be haters.
There’ll always be doubters.
There’ll always be mockers.
And there’ll always be people who get in your face. And people who insult you from the sidelines.
But that’s okay.
Let those people say what they want…
Because you’re going to prove them wrong with your actions.
And your success will keep growing...
Until it’s too hard to ignore.
Then we’ll see.
