Good morning! How are you guys?
I totally forgot to talk about a workshop in SHINJUKU TAKASHIMAYA with COPIC and the mangaka Yoshiyasu Tamura.
If you are there you should come guys!
Recently I posted slightly more sensual pictures, I don't know if you noticed.
Why? Because I wanted to try >< just ones.
What do you think about YURIKO TIGER?
Do you think I should do this kind of shooting and being ‘'hot''? And why?
You know very well what I think about gravure. I don't like my body, I'd like to be more confident though. Anyway, I don't want to do too sensual shooting sessions. After the shooting I did yesterday, I thought…''why not if you can''!
So.. today I'll talk to my manager about it..! But... >__<

This is the second piece in my new “Tokyo at Night” series that I’m painting when I have some time between work, comics, book work and videos.

I wanted to do such a series for some time but I never managed to get to it and now we already moved out of Tokyo with Kana. Before we went though, we did few location hunting sessions around Waseda, Iidabashi and Kagurazaka. This series is based on the material we gathered during those late evening walks.

I wanted to show this side of Tokyo which everyone living longer in the city knows but that is not usually shown on photos and paintings. Small, anonymous, empty streets at night. Random, sometimes a little bit scary buildings. This too is one of the faces of Tokyo.

* Sketch: Mitsu-bishi Hi-Uni pencil grade HB
* Line: COPIC Multiliner SP 0.5mm
* Colours: my main 48 colour Schmincke set
