Beauty is everywhere. Spread the Love gorgeous ♥ ∞
Dear Ones -
Can we talk about something?
For the last few months, I've been growing uneasy about a phenomenon I've seen playing out in the media over women's bodies and women's appearance.
And no, this is not about the USUAL thing that makes me uneasy in the media (the exploitation and hyper-sexualization of women's bodies, etc. etc...) That hasn't changed, and I'm not tackling that today.
This is about something new.
This is about prominent women publicly criticizing other prominent women about body image questions, and about each other's private beauty decisions.
I don't want to see this anymore.
The history of women's bodies and women's beauty is a battlefield of epic (and sometimes violent) proportions. The last thing any of us need to be doing is judging each other and turning on each other.
What really frustrates me is the patronizing tone that is sometimes adopted, when a woman who has made a certain set of decisions about her own face and her own body criticizes another woman who has made an entirely different set of decisions about HER own face and HER own body.
You know the tone. It goes like this: "I just think it's so sad that she felt she needed to do that..."
This is a tone of voice that fills me with ire, because: REALLY? Does it make you feel "sad"? Are sure you're using the word "sad" correctly? Does your neighbor's boob job really make you feel "sad"? Does that movie star's plastic surgery genuinely make you feel "sad"? Are you honestly crying into your pillow at night about somebody's Brazilian butt lift — the way you would cry about a death in the family? Honestly?
Or are you just judging a sister, and hiding your judgment behind a screen of moral appropriation?
Check yourself.
No decision that any of us make about our appearance makes us morally better or morally worse than any other woman.
The scale of beauty in our world is vast and complicated and often politically, socially, and culturally confounding. At one extreme, you have the "all-natural" obsessives, who judge anybody who artificially alters her appearance in any manner whatsoever as vain and shallow. At the other of the scale are the extreme beauty junkies, who will do anything for an enhanced sense of beauty, and who judge everyone else as slovenly and drab.
We all have to figure out where we land on that scale. Lipstick, but no hair dye? Legs shaved, but not arms? Hair processing, but no Brazilian wax? Short skirts but no bikini tops? Two-inch heels, but not five-inch heels?
It all sends a message, and it all comes with complications. None of it is easy to figure out. And this is not even taking into account larger questions about religion, history, and cultural ethics. What looks like modesty on a woman in Rio de Janeiro looks like flagrancy in Salt Lake City. What looks like modesty in Salt Lake City is flagrancy in Cairo. What looks like modesty in Cairo is flagrancy in Riyadh. What looks like flagrancy to your grandmother looks like frumpiness to your teenager. What looks beautiful to me might look grotesque or even offensive to you.
IT'S COMPLICATED.
My experience is this: once we have decided where we land on that scale of beauty, we tend to judge all the other women who have made different decisions in either direction around us: This woman is too vain; that one is too plain...it never ends.
It also bothers me that women who define themselves as liberal, left-wing feminists (like myself) will stand on a picket line to defend the right of another woman to do whatever she wants with her reproductive system — but then attack that woman for what she decided to do to her face.
Let me break it down for you: It's none of your business.
Every single molecule of woman's body belongs to HER.
Yes, even her lips.
Yes, even her butt.
To judge a fellow woman for her choices about her own appearance is not only cruel, it also speaks to a fundamental insecurity that says, "I am so uncomfortable with myself that I have now become deeply uncomfortable with YOU, lady — and I don't even know you."
So have some compassion for the fact that it is difficult for any woman to figure out where to place herself on that vast and emotionally-loaded scale of female aesthetic. And check your own vanity before you criticize someone else's vanity. (And do not kid yourself that you are not vain because you do not partake in certain beauty rituals that other women partake in — because you are also making decisions about your body, your face, and your clothing every single day. With every one of those decisions you are also telegraphing to the world your own politics, your own opinions, your own needs and fears, and yes, often your own arrogance.)
No matter what you're wearing, you are dressing up, too.
As the great drag queen RuPaul has said: "We are all born naked. Everything else is just drag."
So be sympathetic. Everyone is facing her own battlefield in her own manner. And the only way you can express empathy about another woman's vanity IS TO BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR OWN.
Once you have reached that place of authentic honesty about your own struggle, you will only ever show kindness toward your sisters.
So here's what I do.
When I see a woman who has lost weight, I say, "You look terrific."
When I see a woman who has quit dieting and embraced her curves, I say, "You look terrific."
When I see a woman who has obviously just had plastic surgery, I say, "You look terrific."
When I see a woman who has let her hair go grey and is hanging out at grocery store in her husband's sweatpants, I say, "You look terrific."
Because you know what? If you are woman and you managed to get up today and go outside, then you look terrific.
If you are still here, then you look terrific.
If you are able to go face down a world that has been arguing about your body and your face for centuries, then you look terrific.
If you have figured out what you need to wear, or do, or not do, in order to feel safe in your own skin, then you look terrific.
If you are standing on your own two feet and the stress of being a woman hasn't killed you yet, then YOU LOOK TERRIFIC.
To say anything less than that to (or about) your fellow woman is to add ammunition to a war that is bad enough already.
So back off, everyone. Be kind.
You're all stunning.
ONWARD,
LG

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Some people may see my video titles as click-bait. YouTubers optimise their video's meta data for discovery due to how the algorithm is like. This isn't anything new. Most people who've been watching YouTube for years would understand this. If you're unhappy and get triggered by this, well, this channel isn't for you then. I’ve provided free workout schedules and programs since day 1 and have always optimised my meta data as such so that's not going to change.
Having said that, it doesn't mean the workout do not work. You will still see results by following a suitable program schedule, watching your diet, being in a deficit or surplus (based on your goals), doing exercises in good form, etc. These are all equally important factors. You're not going to get abs, grow a booty, grow biceps magically from 1 or 2 videos, in 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks cause everyone is different. A title may come close to suggesting that, but I've explain multiple times throughout videos throughout my channel over years that it takes time and lots of factors, so don't take a video title out of context. Targeting fat loss is also not scientifically proven. Everyone is different and it takes time.
When doing any home workouts, do take precaution to exercise in a safe environment, and if you need help or you're not seeing results, I suggest seeing a health and fitness professional to give you tailored advice on your exercise form and dietary needs. I am not a medical professional and what I share on my channel are my views and what has worked for myself. Your health and safety is the utmost importance so find out what works for you.

Hello my dolly molly inky pinky cotton candy clouds!
This makeup tutorial explains you how to imitate the look of a bjd short for ball jointed doll, dollfie doll, or asian doll as they are sometimes called.
An Inspiration to create this makeup was a doll itself, that some nice people at Hyper Japan gave me to pose for a photo. Tadaaaaa!
Now, Let's Start!
Use moisturiser to create a base that makes your skin look smooth like porcelain.
Press the moisturiser with lifting strokes into your skin. Be gentle with your skin, the facial skin is the most sensitive, so make sure your hands and face are clean so you don't transfer bacteria into your pores and avoid breakouts.
When the cream is absorbed, apply a second layer. Wait until the second one is absorbed by your skin too, and apply the third and last layer. Applying more than one layer of moisturiser is more effective.
This part is optional, but listen:
Before we start applying any makeup, insert circle lenses. It's wrong inserting them after the makeup is done, as you risk that powder could come in touch with your lens, and you'd end up with a bad eye infection. Or, of course, your eye makeup and mascara would risk getting messed up.
Use a pink or peach toned concealer, 1 shade lighter than your natural skin tone to create an even, and flawless base shade. Apply around the dark area under your eye, eyelids and the infamous T-Zone. Apply the second coat of concealer and blend, blend, blend, and blend. No magic, but only blending is the one key to create an even base.
Get powder in your natural skin tone. Lightly dab the sponge with the powder. Then, dab the sponge to your facial areas. We only dab, as pressing to much powder onto your skin would mess up the doll look. We want the difference between powder colour and concealer colour to be seen, as it creates a natural but doll like skin.
Dolls got mysterious, beautifully deep set eyes, so keep watching too see how you can do that, too!
Choose light pink eyeshadow, and apply colour from eyelid to brow bone. Choose a reddish brown and apply it to your outer eye corner, then blend the two colours.
As mentioned, make up is art, and there's a wide variety of tools for us to use.
Take a lip liner, but use it as an eyeliner.
Line about the half of your lower lash line and blend moving your finger upwards.
Apply mascara, a lot of mascara, to make both your real lashes and lower lashes thick and long. Now get fake lashes. For a dolly look, look for lashes that aren't too long, have a thin lash band, many but thin lashes, and have their ultimate longest lash pair set in the middle.
Use light pink blush. Smile and apply on your cheeks.
Apply blush on your temples, brushing downwards to your kidney.
This time, bronzer is not used to tan us, but to create shadows. Dab a small amount of bronzer on a powder brush and apply to your sides, over the light pink blush to create a warm and soft colour tone.
Dab some bronzer on your finger and apply to the sides of your nose. This will give an illusion of a narrow nose like most dolls usually have.
To create soft looking lips, line your lips with a brown lip liner. Blend the lip liner on your lips.
Stroke cherry red lip liner on your lips, then blend the 2 colours together. Dab red or pink lip gloss on your lips, then press them together. Now you have simply dreamy lips in soft colours!
Look! We're done!
I hope that you too will enjoy trying out this doll makeup!
See you in my next video!

Hi my lovelies, please READ this box for more info in regards to some questions you might have. How I get a flat belly effectively with these simple workouts in under 5 minutes. These moves are suitable for beginners and I will be showing and explaining to you step by step to master the moves. If you are busy, then this is good as it takes less than 5 minutes.
1) How often should I do this workout?
Do 15-20 repetitions and 3-4sets for each exercise, 3-4 times weekly on alternate days. If you are a beginner, start slow and increase the reps and sets as you progress.
2) Should I only do this workout?
For best result, combine it with consistent total body workouts (3-4 times weekly) and have a healthy, clean, balanced diet (that's a huge part to getting a flat belly). You can refer to my other workout videos for an effective total body workouts. If you are a beginner, try my "Beginner Fat Burning" workout video with this. =)
3) When will I start to see the difference (or get a flat belly)?
For this workout and any other workouts in general, you should feel and see the difference in 4-6 weeks. This varies individually depending on how much body fat you have to lose, the safe and sustainable weight loss ratio is 1-2lbs per week. Again, combine this workout with total body workouts to burn off the excess fat.
4) Can I do this workout more frequently for quicker results?
Doing this workout more frequently doesn't equal quicker result, it's a combination of total body workouts to burn the excess fat off and a good clean diet. Allowing your muscles to rest and recover is as important too - hence do it on alternate days.
5) I feel the strain on my lower back instead of abs and my lower back is arching. Am I doing it wrong?
If you are new to this workout, It's comment to arch our back because our ab muscles are not as strong yet. Slow down the pace and focus on getting the right technique initially.
So only bring your legs down as low as you can without arching your back. It's alright if it's only half way through because it's more important that we don't feel the strain on our lower back, and focus on working the abs muscles. You can also support your lower back by placing your hand directly under your lower back. As your abs get stronger, you will find that you will be able to bring your legs down even more.
6) I want to get a flat belly in 1 week or 2 weeks. What can I do?
It's important to set yourself a realistic goal. We do not put on weight / belly fat overnight, hence it will take time for us to lose the weight too. The sooner you stop looking for shortcuts, instead trust yourself and your hard work, the sooner you will see results. Start by cleaning up your food; so no junks, fried food, soda drink and reduce the amount you eat. If you consume less than your body burns, that's when you lose weight. And of course combine it with total body workouts 5-6 days a week for quick and best result.
Check out my Fitness & Meal Plans here to help kickstart your weight loss journey: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyP8pbBMxcsgTp_bjdqt-0Z7gmigAFysf Success stories come with lots of dedication and hard work.

Practice makes prefect. Fitness is for life. Let's just not get obsessed over having a flat belly but to look at fitness as a way of living. Exercising gives you a healthy body, clear and balance mind, makes you happy and energised. Remember to love your body before you can make any changes to it. All the best! =)
